In addition to Joker being added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in the near future as the game's first DLC fighter, it looks like Persona fans in the west can also look forward to the eventual arrival of Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth on the 3DS.
After being revealed in Japan last August and then locally released on 29th November, the game was yesterday rated by the Australian Classification Board, essentially confirming a western release will be happening at some point. It's now a matter of simply waiting for an official announcement from Atlus. In the meantime, take a look at the classification below:

This title is a sequel to 2014's Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth which was a crossover title combining characters from Persona 3 and Persona 4 with the first-person dungeon-crawling and map-drawing gameplay of Etrian Odyssey.
Is this a game you've been eager to play on your 3DS? Did you play the original title? Tell us below.

Good time to get it. now that im getting into the Persona games in general.
Most likely my last 3ds game and what a way to go out too! Can't wait!
You’ll never see it coming.
Great news, I was starting to get nervous. I recently finished Persona 5 for the first time, and looking forward to spending more time with the characters.
This and the new Etrian Odyssey are infinitely more exciting than anything first-party happening on 3DS these days. Thanks to Atlus for helping make 3DS the greatest JRPG machine of all time.
Best news of the day for me.
Even though it's hard for me to let the 3DS go, i would absolutely be fine with it if this is the last game we get for the system.
Thank you, Atlus.
Sounds like a good final game for 3DS. But yes, I would prefer a Persona title coming to Switch.
Great stuff was starting to worry they might not release it in west with 3ds winding down
I feel like this is going to be the 3DS's third party sendoff, and after a few ports/remakes/compilations from Nintendo, that'll well and truly be it for the 3DS. Sad times, but it had a good eight year run.
Great news to start the day. Really looking foward to it
The original game was garbage and FeMC is even worse. Definite skip.
Probably my last 3DS game but I’ll still be working through my JRPG backlog for a good few years. What a brilliant system with some really great third-party support.
I'll wait until he's in smash.
Awesome. I was wondering if this was getting released on the west.
3DS. COME TO ME.
Definitely my last 3DS game, it's a good end for the era.
I'll believe it when I see an official announcement.
Nice! This is the last game i wanted on my 3DS and as a Persona AND Etrian fan i didn't want to miss this one.
Hopefully it'll be localized this year...
YEEEEEEESSSSS!!!
I was SO worried that they wouldn't even bother releasing it outside of Japan since 3DS is dying and the Switch is rising. They really should've put it on the Switch but I guess they started development before they even knew about.
Anyways, this is a relief. Persona Q is the only Persona game I've played so I'm looking forward to PQ2 immensely!
P.S. What's this about sex and nudity...?
I haven't played the first game yet, but this is on my wishlist.
Looks interesting might have to give this a go. I'm looking forward to Kirby's Epic Yarn on 3DS., Loved it on Wii. I hate to see the 3DS go out what a brilliant, fantastic and phenomenal little system. So many amazing games . I love the clam shell design of the 3DS and of course the 3D it would be great to see Nintendo give the system a proper successor.
I cant wait. Possibly the final release on 3ds? I still love the darn thing I hope not. They have been great about releasing Dragon Quest on 3DS hopefully Dragon Quest XI will get ported. Ive given up on Dragon Quest X ever getting a port in any form and will boycott a none online versionshould it ever get a port. Oops an angry off topic rant lol. Ive lost my mind.
Great! Now if we can have the “Endless dance collection” on the switch that would be perfect.
Wait, the platform classification next to the title says "Multi-Platform". So is it coming to home consoles instead of 3DS in the West? If that is the case, then PS4 and Switch are definitely locks. Still holding out hope for P5R to get announced for Switch and PC though...
