Starlink: Battle for Atlas is out today on Nintendo Switch, and Ubisoft has shared a brand new launch trailer to celebrate the game's release.
As you can see above, the new trailer goes for the epic, cinematic approach, focusing on the dreams of a young boy who wants nothing more than to fly around space in the coolest ship he can find. We hardly see any actual gameplay, and the trailer actually makes us want a new Starlink movie more than anything else, but you certainly get a sense of the level of adventure Ubisoft is hoping to promote.
If you're still on the fence about picking this one up, or simply want to know a little more about what the game actually is, make sure to check out our full review. It's pretty safe to say that we were impressed with what we found, with the additional Star Fox content actually making the Switch version the best way to play the game in our minds.
If that's not enough content for you, we also have this video below to showcase the optional toys that you can purchase with your game - as well as showing you exactly how they work, of course.
Have you picked up a copy of Starlink: Battle for Atlas on Switch? Are you thinking about it giving it a go but are still unsure? Feel free to share your thoughts on the game in the comments below.

It seems Nintendolife were more impressed with the game than the vast majority of other sites.
"The uploader has not made this video available in your country."
oh well, i'll have to watch it when Ubisoft in US uploads it.
@OorWullie It seems like Nintendo sites in general are reviewing the game more highly than other outlets. Perhaps a certain cameo character has something to do with it...
Really great trailer. But the voice at the end destroys everything
That's easily the most impressive game trailer I've seen in a long time. The movie level production values look stunning. The young kids over earnest voice is a tad grating though.
I love Alex's expression on the video
toys to life = stupid
Just awesome..
Who Ubisoft thinks this game will appeal to: Kids
Who this actually appeals to: 30 year old Nintendo fans who love Star Fox
That was cool!... Make a film now lol
@Mrtoad haha I just got mine though post 15 mins ago and I was super excited and playing with it and I'm 31 haha
What is it with Ubisoft always country-restricting their trailers? No other company seems to do that.
@jockmahon toys to life being optional = smart
🤘rock and roll)))
I’m mid thirties and pumped. Not for the toys though, I’m going digital!
Its a good trailer. I hope it sells well.
Trailer looks good. I hope they really do make a film about this
That trailer was a big turn off!
Can't see the trailer, but I'd like to play it if I can. I'm not in a position to break to the bank to do so, so unless I can rent it, it likely won't get played any time soon...
I'm enjoying the game so far, i'm glad i got it on Switch as the Starlink characters are quite bland, Starfox all the way !
Hmm, Cant see this one. But just Google it and it gives me the US version I guess

Think they should stick with the StarFox ones.
@jockmahon (Just to say you can get it digitaly and have no toys but you get all the ships/characters)
@Aozz101x use vpn
@DarkVortex high five
I hope they release a demo for those of you who are on the fence. This game is a blast.
Let's hope the Switch version sells the best. It will keep Ubisoft happy. Then they can announce Mario Vs Rabbids 2. It's all business at the end of the day.......
@MisterDevil thats something i'v been meaning of getting due to one of the Japanese company restricted on allowing importers to download updates and such.
What a boring, generic trailer.
@NintyNate how do you like it so far ? (I'm 34 and I have a sizable skylanders collection)
Can't watch in the states booooooo
My only problem with this game is the price in the UK. I will wait for a sale as I won't pay over 50£ for the standard edition
@dil_power it's just Starfox! It's great, somehow ubisoft have done a Starfox game better than what Ninty have done for it over the last 10 years lol
Nice! Can't wait to try it
@Aozz101x yeah with VPN they can't block you out
