Bandai Namco's video game adaptation of the popular Weekly Shonen Jump manga and anime franchise, My Hero Academia, was already locked in for an October release in the west and now a new clip has revealed the exact date of its arrival.
My Hero One's Justice is officially scheduled for 26th October. Anyone who pre-orders the game before then will be able to fight as Endeavor. This hero is best known in the series for his fire-based quirk.
As previously noted, the game takes on the form of an outlandish brawler where you team up in a three-person squad comprised of one main fighter and two sidekicks who can be called on at key points during a battle to perform their own signature moves.
Take a look at the brief clip above and tell us in the comment section if you'll be picking this up on release.

If you don't know how to make a clip to show what your game is, do whatever you want but NOT THAT... :/
I love the anime, but I just can't get hype for a game that looks like Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 0.5.... and I really want to be hype, but a 3D arena fighter? Nah... v.v
Also, pre-order now to get Endeavor as a playable character, best dad in anime and a fan-favorite (sarcasm).
Is this series (I mean the anime) available in the West?
If not, then most people won’t have a clue what this game is about...
@Tsurii Thanks, I have little idea about what’s going on outside Japan anime wise
@Tsurii
Yeah, that's surprising indeed. I do admit having stopped reading after the arc that the anime is on right now (figured there was no need to keep reading with the anime not taking years between seasons cough Attack on Titan cough) so don't know if he got some character development.
And how could I forget Bondrewd?! Such a shining example of parenthood that he truly has no equal xd
@Tsurii I wouldn't be surprised if he became paid dlc down the line, would be kinda awkward fighting someone online with a fighter they have which you can't unlock (and won't fit with the meta).
I love anime, but the trailer made this seem like another generic anime fighting game to me. I probably won’t be getting this.
@NinjaSyao You say that sarcastically but those who read the manga up to the latest chapters know he is Best Dad.
@Tsurii Pre-Order BS? Doesn't a ton of fighting games give you an exclusive character/Skin for pre-ordering the game? It's not really BS, its just offering an extra bonus for pre-ordering.
@Tsurii nothing I hate more in gaming sales culture is locking modes or characters behind a pre-order bonus.
Never heard of the anime (although I've switched to sports anime because it is more straightforward) so I'll have to snag an ep or two.
@patbacknitro18 Not yet, but he’s trying. Lol
It’s BS that I have to preorder to get Daddy Todaroki, but ok.
@Lizuka
Same, stopped after season 2. It's a really fun show, but I personally like watching series where there are stakes involved with every battle. If everyone is protected by plot armor, then I quickly lose interest.
@Cobalt Agreed. Zero gameplay truth in the video
They should move that - Red Dead 2 is on the same day. At $59 it is the obvious choice.
Not sure why publishers send Anime games out to die in the west instead of finding a good spot for them in the schedule.
@Tsurii I play both - so in some cases, yes. Not like Anime is this fringe anymore. Also, regardless of who is "targeted" big games suck the air out of the room in general.
I love the manga so I think I might give this a shot seeing as I also like fighting games.
@Lizuka You dropped it just before it got really really good. Try to continue at some point. I’ve been hooked since the middle of season 2.
That's my birthday!
