I've been looking forward to Soccer Slammers. So far I have the full Atooi collection on my Switch and I plan to keep it that way. Jools never disappoints.
There are a few indie teams that have a perfect record in my book. Yacht Club Games, Image & Form and Atooi are all in that club. Anything made by those outlets is a day 1 buy for me.
HEY THERE'S AN ESHOP SALE FOR E3 TOO - Don't wait for the press-release. I posted about it on the forum yesterday. It's only up for the weekend and includes splatoon 2
@riChchestM Sounds good. It didn’t start yet on the US eShop. I hope it does....I only see news about the UK deals.
Just Hollow Knight and Bloons TD for me this week. Mostly Hollow Knight. I'm so happy it's out.
Nothing for me this week. hollow knight looks interesting but I will hold out in hopes for a physical release in the future.
@NL: is the last game listed "the Lost Child"? Title missing.
Also, can you add a note of CAUTION about the broken release that is Tennis World Tour??
Just Fortnite and something from the E3 sale if there's anything good.
RBI Baseball 2018, I've been waiting for you!
I played it on Xbox, but wanted it on Switch.
I know many people dislike it, but quick arcade baseball is exactly what I want and I personally prefer it to Baseball Stars.
Paladins, Octo Expansion (didn't pre-purchase), and I'll check out the eShop sales for any games I put off buying in the past.
@imgrowinglegs I was looking for it too. Just quit the eShop... and the sale notification just popped up in my news feed! Thunderbirds are go! Or... something.
E3 Switch Sale:
Splatoon 2 33% off
Zelda BotW 25% off
Fire Emblem Warriors 33% Off
Ultra Streetfighter 50% off
@imgrowinglegs Actually, give it a few... I'm too fast for Nintendo! All of the links are erroring (erring?) out!
You gave me a heart attack with the Xenoblade 2 DLC. I thought the Torna expansion was released today. The paragraph is really confusing...
I wanted to get set up for Paladins but it's 29.99 until they release the free to play edition. You would think people would have tried to beat Fortnite at least in release date. Also what's up with no cross progression on Hi-Rez titles? Not cool.
@riChchestM The NA E3 sale is actually through June 21st!
Double 'Chameleon Run Deluxe' results? You sure must want those Chameleons running around!
Got Fortnite for my boys, getting Octopath demo and maybe something from the eShop sale for both the Switch and 3DS (if there’s a sale on its eShop)
How well is Paladins running on the Switch? I love Overwatch, so I’m thinking of picking up the similar game on Switch.
That's too many games to download, will never get to it.
@Dom @NintendoLife you had an article stating Crazy Justice would be released on June 13th. Any updates?
Only Hollow Knight so far, although I'll also be checking out those eshop discounts when they go live.
I downloaded Fortnite and Fallout Shelter.
I can't imagine anyone on here getting that $60 Tennis game given its horrendously bad press. I feel sorry for people who may not be in the know about it.
Hollow Knight for me. Enjoying it so far!
@Tsusasi Are you sure? That would be a shame, there's a PS sale right now and I was expecting to be able to choose between both sales, but if this is the case, I guess Sony will take my money.
Grabbed Fortnite and already delete Fallout Shelter, just wasn't for me.
Fortnite is okay fun, something to mess about with for free at least.
Hollow Knight for me but I got such a back log I don't have to download it yet. Maybe by the time I do there'll be a sale.
Hollow Knight! Already bought Octo Expansion.
Due to the excitement of World Cup, I am probably going to download NEO GEO Soccer Brawl and/or Super Sidekicks 2... both of those arcade cabinets existed where I played indoor soccer as a kid.
Soccer Slammers looked like a joke/rip-off at first... but now I am intrigued... I don't think I would ever pay for something like that without a demo first.
Hollow Knight downloaded and ready to go.
@roy130390 For some reason, it looks like links from the news are broken. Search for the game you want in the eShop and you'll get to it. Also, Golf Story just popped up; on sale. Same problem; error through link, but I got to it just fine through search.
Downloading Donkey Kong!
ARCADE ARCHIVES: DONKEY KONG
Shulk and Fiora added as rare blades!!!!
FYI for Canadian gamers, Amazon Canada has the Poke Ball Plus up for pre-order for $64.99 (gotta love that exchange rate...and yes I'm being sarcastic with that comment).
Wish Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was on sale
Where is Crazy Justice? I thought it was supposed to release yesterday.
From the sale I’m getting the 1st XC and Miitopia
How about Arcade Archives: Donkey Kong, which launched today too? And the Octopath demo
@bezerker99 @OnBeingHuman I can't check for myself at the moment but please Please PLEASE tell me you guys are NOT kidding. PLEASE
@MeloMan No joke! It’s the original arcade version! Here’s the link for proof ~ https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/arcade-archives-donkey-kong-switch
@BoFiS Donkey Kong was a surprise announcement on the Treehouse stream today, so they didn’t want to spoil it by putting it in the PR notes for today.
@madmatt213 Thanks!
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG Hamster! YES! YEESS!!! At last!!! Arcade perfect Donkey Kong... I knew they'd be the key to bringing it through! Ever since the first arcade perfect Arcade Archive came to the eShop! I have waited, SO many years, no offense to DK arcade on DK64... I damn near have tears in my eyes. Cannot wait to get home, this is ALL I'm playing tonight.
This bodes well... Now it's almost a lock DK Jr. and DK3 will come too.
@MeloMan I think I might enjoy Donkey Kong Jr even more than the original, haha
I have to wait another month for Sky Skipper, though.
I also downloaded Arcade Archives: Donkey Kong. We finally have the pie level!
Anybody want to help out a stupid old man and confirm the DK DLC is included as part of the season pass and/or Gold edition?
The website has season pass for $20, DK is $15. Gold is $44 on sale from $80. I'll buy the whole thing for $44 if it includes the DK stuff as well.
https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/mario-rabbids-kingdom-battle-switch
Nothing is ever easy when you get to be my age, I'm still trying to figure out XC2 boxed DLC as well. 😛
Wasn't Crazy Justice meant to come out this week?
@MeloMan
you know there is something like mame, for over like say, two decades!?
ok ofcourse its cool to play dk on the switch:)
@rjejr: Yes, if you buy the gold edition for $44 then you with get both the base game and the season pass which includes the DK DLC.
And by the way, your not a stupid old man, Nintendo can just be a bit confusing some times. 😉
@Executer66 Thanks. Both for the info and compliment. After spending 15 minutes looking at it all w/ my very smart sons on the Switch eShop we did finally come to that conclusion, but it took us all longer than we would like to admit. We'll probably buy it later, they are discussing how much they each want to put in now, they know I'm not paying $45 for it myself, I want to play it but not that badly, and I'll probably never actually get around to playing more than the first few levels. They'll probably each agree to chip in $10, $24 I can live with. Thanks again.
Why do you guys put the 3 answer limit on something like this? Some people might be buying more than 3 games.
I'll be picking up Gorogoa and Golf Story in the sale. I'm tempted by Splatoon and BOTW too.
I have to try to be self restrained though as I'm getting Mario Aces as well.
Hollow Knight (masterpiece)
Fortnite
Donkey Kong
Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion
Fallout Shelter
Shining Resonance Demo
Octopath Traveller NEW Demo
Paladins (maybe)
Wolfenstein 2 (preload)
Shining Resonance (preload)
Octopath Traveller (preload)
@Heavyarms55
Ikr? I complain about it every week, and they never change it.
Why on earth would you put an arbitrary limit on an open ended question? If you're buying 7 games in a week, The pole should reflect that. Otherwise certain games are unfairly not represented.
in the last 2 weeks I have purchased Slain, Mario Tennis, Paladins, Rocket League, Double Dragon and Blue and Red Joycons
I think I have an addiction
Got Hollow Knight. It is absolutely amazing and I tend to not care for most Metroidvania games (other than Metroid) but this is just a delight to play. Highly recommended if anyone is still on the fence.
@flapjack-ashley Hopefully more people are warned about that mess of a game. Lol.
Where’s the Octopath prologue demo on the poll list, that’s the only thing i’m downloading this week.
