Square Enix has announced that the Switch port of the 2016 PS Vita title SaGa: Scarlet Grace – Hiiro no Yabou will arrive in Japan on August 2nd. It's also coming to PlayStation 4, PC, and smartphones on the same day.
The news was confirmed in the latest issue of Famitsu, along with details on the new voice actors involved with the project. Three new characters - designed by Tomomi Kobayashi - will be included in this revised edition of the game:
- Camellia (voiced by Mie Sonozaki)
- Savitt (voiced by Kazuma Horie)
- Poet (voice actor unknown at present)
The main characters will be voiced by:
- Urpina (voiced by Maaya Uchida)
- Leonard (voiced by Yuuma Uchida)
- Balmaint (voiced by Taiten Kusunoki)
- Taria (voiced by Atsuko Tanaka)
This update will also include new bosses, improved visuals, all-new Akitoshi Kawazu-scripted events and more goodies. There's no word on a western release as yet, sadly.

After playing the japanese Vita version let's hope they release it in english on the switch soon.
Quite expected, but hopefully it'll be released here this time.
@Rayquaza2510 There's a lot of people feeling it may well end up localized. Just the fact there's going to be a PC release makes a lot feel so(Japanese games releasing on PC/Steam are rarely not localized since PC gaming is such not a Japanese gaming habit... pretty much, it's increasingly almost like you could say that it's turning out that "PC port" is starting to be codeword for "Western outreach" when it come to Japanese developpers)
I read "PS Vita RPG is getting ported" before seeing the title and I thought Persona 4 Golden was getting ported to the Switch. wtf damien
A jRPG with no gratuitous fan-service? One of the reasons I enjoy the Bravely Series so much. Would love if they brought this westward.
...how about making articles that actually talk about the game itself if you're going to mention it? It's not like the link has any real information whatsoever, and some of us don't follow Japan-only PSVita news. Or any PSVita news.
I'm up for more of these JRPG Vita ports.
