nothing for me this week. PS2 classics in May! (Timesplitters, etc)
Death Road is bloody great. Found a nice nod to Nintendo already. Grabbing Manticore finally, and getting SP physical tuesday.
Aqua Moto Racing for me. Nice to see some Wii U love
Wild guns yaaaay
Getting South Park but on cart. Already got Football Manager and it's great.
South Park for me. I am so glad I did not get it for PS4 when it came out. Now I get to play an RPG on the go that is not a 3DS game. YAY. Horrah.
Still 2 hours until Manticore is actually released. Let's see if it gets delayed again.
Picked up Wild Guns in physical form, the shop I went to only got in 1 copy lol
Where's Nintendo Labo?
In case anyone's looking to get the physical version of Wild Guns Reloaded, dont risk sleeping on it.
There's no active listing showing up on Best Buy or Amazon (NA), Walmart is selling for above MSRP, and GameStop is only allowing for in-store pickup (mine only had one copy).
I'm not sure if it's just a small initial shipment or a limited run, but it may not be on shelves for super long.
Death Road to Canada and Real Bout FF Special for me but they'll need to wait for a few weeks Got a flight ticket to buy and an injured cat to pay for plus the surprise release of Football Manager meant I ended up spending far too much on games last week. Perhaps I'll get started on one of my 20+ indie games that I bought and haven't even seen the title screen of.
GAL Gun 2 IS $60!!!! 😵😵 Seems like a $20 game to me.
@techdude Labo might be physically exclusive, so it likely wouldnt show up on this list.
@DTFaux
Thanks for the heads up, I was looking for it on Best Buy but didn't see it. I'll have to stop by Gamestop and see if there is one there. It will suck if I cannot find it anywhere.
@Spoony_Tech I'm kind of interested in GG2 too, but it is way expensive.
No mention of Labo. Odd.
@DTFaux I bought the ONE copy that was sent to my local Gamestop. It seems as if Nasume wants the future resale price of this game to mirror that of the SNES original...
Pre-loaded Gal*Gun 2 yesterday.
Probably all I'll be downloading for a while. I'm uncertain on Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition
(never owned it before, but I'm not entirely sure I'll enjoy the musou gameplay), and while I do want Tropical Freeze, I already own it on the Wii U.
Will probably pick up Wild Arms at some point, but $30 is a bit much for me. I'll wait until it drops below $20.
@River3636 Double Peace on PS4 was pretty cheap after half a year or so on the market. I wouldn't be surprised if it drops below $40 before the year ends.
Wake me up when Dark Souls and Mario Tennis get here.
Manticore prepurchased from weeks ago and fatal fury and will try the chariot demo
@River3636 Oh I have zero interest but was just surprised by the full retail price tag. Then again I was totally shocked miitopia was also full retail. I thought that was a $20 game for sure.
definitely Death Road for me.
Maxx The Curse of Brotherhood physical copy will also be out on Tuesday
Don't miss Wild Guns that game is amazing
South Park being at full price without any DLC included is a no-go for me. I'll wait for a sale
You guys are gonna review Football Manager, right? Eagerly waiting for that one.
@Gorfvic20 That's be pretty funny if true. I can imagine maybe they're looking to rely more on their digital sales for this game.
@Winklebottom wait timesplitters is coming to PS4?
Waiting for reviews for Manticore. If it bombs I might finally get the Breath of the Wild DLC.
@River3636 @Spoony_Tech Have the European version of GG2, personaly I think its a great game, well worth standard price for Switch games IMO. (Not sure if $60 is the standard in US, but the game is great.)
So if you like what you see, it could be worth it. If you don't like it, it probally is not worth it.
South Park for me, though I'm grabbing it physically this time.
Might use my gold points towards Outlast or RE Revelations 2 at some point.
@NESlover85 not digital (sadly )
Nothing for me this week. I'm saving up for the preorders in the coming months.
Skee Ball could be fun, but it is pretty expensive.
@Spoony_Tech "GAL Gun 2 IS $60"
Well they probably saw Skee-Ball was $20 and said "Screw it, make it $60."
I'm a big skeeball fan in real life, but no video game skeeball is worth $20. Not even in VR. As 1 part of a large carnival game package that would be fine, but not $20 only for skeeball. Would have been 800 points on the Wii shop.
So, we can't digitally download cardboard, huh? Didn't see that coming.
I'm interested in Manticore, but I'm gonna wait for a review.
South Park physical someday and maybe Manticore if it reviews well.
Have just finished playing Where Are My Friends?
Probably the buggiest game I’ve played on Switch yet. I’m starting to feel like we’re seeing a lot of Shovel ware start to creep onto the console. If you have a young kid, get It’s Spring Again for a couple of bucks, it’s such a charming number.
I assume Labo isn't included because its not available digitally, and this is only eshop listings. Either way, God of War will be my weekend
@Winklebottom
No Gal*Gun 2? 😜
South Park, obviously. Also, Fatal Fury and Wild Guns.
South Park should kill some time, since I have exactly 10 days between South Park and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze
Nothing for me this week/year so far on Switch. Super Slow year for the Switch so far hopefully it will get better after E3, just not into Shovel Ware/ Indies, and not going to purchase Wii U Ports for the Switch either. But I will be picking up God of War this Week for the Ps4.
Likely Gal Gun. High testosterone game, relief from having to deal with so many of today's beta males.
@Winklebottom For just a second I thought that meant PS2 classics were coming to switch. Heart stopped. Cheers.
South Park possibly
Real bout special finally!!! Now there’s only one game left that’s a must have for me—Last blade 2!
@Winklebottom Wait, what? You're implying Tinesplitters is getting released on PS4 in May, and physically at that. Explain yourself, please.
I'd get Wild Guns but $30 is a little steep. I would buy the physical edition though and only pay $20 for it.
I think I will buy South Park day one.
Bloody God of War!
Can’t hardly wait!
Got cart for Wild Guns.
@wratih9 I reserved mine online at GameStop. I thought I had changed my phone number on my account to my current one, but they couldn't find the reservation order when I went to pick up the game. Luckily I thought to try my old number as they wouldn't sell me it unless they could verify it was my reservation.
I'm going to wait on some reviews. Ninja-Striker, Neo Atlas look like they might be good. Same for Shee-Ball, but the price looks like a no-go; it will depend on content.
As much as I am interested in Death Road to Canada and BAFL, I am holding off. I still have not finish Nino Kuni 2, have not start Yakuza 6 yet, and I am hook on Don't Starve.
So maybe when BigN having sales or price drop on those 2, I might get them.
Aqua Moto Racing Utopia is actualy $10 right now. @Dom
I'd pick Death Road if I could buy anything, didn't know it was out this soon. Is West of Loathing around the corner as well?
Of course all the games I want show up when I can't buy anything! xD
Nothing worth trading Yakuza or God of war for... Or even NinoKuni2 (Just about done with it myself - great JRPG)
Already played south park. People who not played it - that is a good buy. Unfortunately It is impossible for it to include the 1st game for free like the PS4 version.
If you never played either - the PS4 SP:FB is a better deal as you get both games in the box for $39
South Park for me! Been waiting for that one since before Switch launched!
Wild guns!
Me too @Agramonte, already played South Park: TFbW. But I personally prefer The Stick of Truth more.
Better deal on Amazon physical (PS4) right now than PSN. $60 just so one can play on a go, idk, is it worth it thou? ( sorry for being a party pooper )
Holy crap, FORTY BUCKS for the infamously terrible Firefighters the simulation? It's $15 on Steam and $30 on PSN...damn, these people are taking the piss.
@UnknownReader i have this from Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/South-Park-Fractured-Whole-PlayStation-4/dp/B078HQNXFD/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1524163303&sr=8-7&keywords=South+park+ps4
2 comes in a disk and you get the first one as a download code. Yeah - I thought Stick of truth was much better also.
One of these days I'm going to be shocked when you list Pocket Rumble...
$19.99 for skee-ball? What? Don't they mean $1.99? Ridiculous. I always loved skee-ball, but nothing about it could ever be worth $20 especially as a download only game. That price has got to be a typo.
Very excited about Death Road to Canada!
@Agramonte
Yeah, it's a shame that SP:SoT wasn't also released for Switch.
That said, God of War is going to completely take me away from any other games for quite a while. GoW, Spider-Man, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider is all I care about for the rest of the year so far.
Oh, and that little indie game called Red Dead Redemption 2.
Good week. Manticore is a must, I'll also be picking up Gal Gun 2, South Park and Wild Guns a some point. Judging by impressions, I might also be interested in Death Road to Canada aswell.
@EVIL-C no, im buying the game for PS2 (the actual console). not PS2 Classics on PS4.
@Kang81 yeah man - Amazon already shipped my copy of GOW for tomorrow delivery. After EasyAllies gave it a 10/10 I had to get it. See for myself. I'll still keep playing Alliance Alive on my commute.
yep - Tomb raider, Red Dead and Dragon Quest are my obsession for now. Waiting for more info on FE and Last Of Us
Great times for games!... Enjoy GOW 🙂
@techdude @Dr_Awkward This article is called Nintendo Download, and features only things coming to the eShop. We have no sources at all saying Labo will be available to download, which means it is a physical exclusive and won't be on the eShop.
@Winklebottom Ah I see. Thank you.
@Spoony_Tech I want for the cheesy fun of it.
@Ralizah I want it on SWitch, I will pay the tax.
Don't you mean "Soccer Manager Touch 2018"? A football game means something completely different on this side of the pond.
Gal Gun Hype!
As much as I would like to get South Park, I already have it on PS4. If it had Stick of Truth bundled with it, I may have considered it
$80 for those 2 firefighter simulators? I smell a stealth release of Mega Man X7.
Too many games
South Park is #1 for me this month, but I haven't seen it on the eShop. I see Gal*Gun, DK:TF, and even the Crash N-Sane Trilogy in the "Coming Soon" section, but South Park isn't listed, and when I type it in the search bar it say "no results." What's up with that?
@AdReNaLiNFaLc0n got better games to get. so, things change
I got wild guns reloaded physical today at EB Games!
Meh. Not much to look forward to for me this week.
@SilverEdge92 NoA is really bad about updating the coming soon section on the US eShop. Or at least with the stuff people actually care about. South Park and Naruto not being listed on the coming soon section despite both of them launching next week is ridiculous.
I didn't know Neo ATLAS was coming out in the west! I saw it in the Japanese eShop and I kinda like the premise. I might check it out now.
Looks like I might go hunting for physical Wild Guns this weekend, going by what others have been chiming in.
Other than that, I'm probably holding off on other purchases until KORG Gadget cones out.
$30 for wild guns, really? It's a decent game, but being that old at that price for it's short length and limited gameplay is about $20 too much.
@River3636 It's a shame the Vita had no RPG's.
I will likely get South Park for Switch, but probably closer to the end of the year when it hits a deep discount or Black Friday pricing.
Wild Gun Reloaded is kidding with that price... but when it gets a decent sale, I'm in.
Give me a LABO demo on the eshop. No try, no buy.
I might pick up Runbow, which is also releasingthis week.
For labo i don't think it will come digital because of the cardboard. They may sell the kits alone and you can download digital at a later date.
@nukatha Thanks mate.
Neo Atlas 1469 (PC)
Developer: ARTDINK
Publisher: Arc System Works
Released: February 14, 2017
MSRP: $29.99
Why this cost $50 on Switch? Destructoid gave the game an 7.5/10 btw but why the extra $20?
Sorry, Nintendo, bus this week I'm all about Kratos.
People have to realize, that the reason why games cost more is the cartridge format. If people are willing to buy all these disk games that may be cheaper, but still take up a lot of space on the hard drive more power to them. People should know that switch came out later than the other systems. You don't know if there are games that are coming out that are already on other systems. If it is worth it to have a game to take on the go, that lots of people want it. Trade in the older game and put the credit towards that same game you want to buy on the switch.
If Wild Guns Reloaded were $10 bucks lower..
@Agramonte
Thanks, and I'm having a blast so far.
Just avoid YouTube, people are spoiling the bosses by posting them in their video thumbnails. I saw a bunch when I logged on the other day and my feed was filled with them.
It's a shame that even browsing YouTube for non related content can ruin moments in a game.
