Super Mario Odyssey has no shortage of moons to collect, many of them are given out for doing simple, menial tasks that require very little thought or platforming prowess. On the other end of the spectrum, there’s the hint art moons, the locations of which are only shown in cryptic paintings that appear scattered around the kingdoms. Data miners discovered that the latest update contained some data referring to new hint art in the game, which led to speculation that Nintendo would be adding more moons to the game in the future.
It turns out that the hint art rumors were actually true, as Nintendo of America posted an image today of hint art that doesn’t appear in the game, saying that “you’ll get something good”. We won’t spoil it here, but if you can figure out what this art is pointing to, you’ll find that there is indeed something new to be found there. Hopefully this’ll become a regular thing going forward; it’s nice to have some additional content presented in a rather unconventional way like this.
What do you think? Did you find the location referred to here? Do you think Nintendo will add more moons, or even new kingdoms? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

For those who are able to find it, it really is a nice little bit . Happy hunting!
Spoilers - It's an invitation to Super Smash Brothers 5.
Double Spoilers - Luigi didn't get one
....Still haven't played this game yet, lol.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if we got a DLC for this game announced at E3.
I think I found it. And if I did find it, it is indeed a nice little secret.
It is simply refusing to appear for me so I went and spoiled it using YouTube. Nice little surprise but I am glad it isn't anything major.
Edit: It may possibly be that my switch is not currently connected to the internet.
Is nintendo of America twitter is the only source of the hint art distribution? I haven’t tried it yet, because I’m not at home atm, but I wonder if it works in Europe. It would be nice if they posted this through nintendo switch news channel.
P.s. I’m a pretty sure I know the location
It was exactly where I expected it to be. Guys, if you can't find it. Just keep on stomping around until you find the sweet spot.
That hint is pretty obvious
@Joeynator3000
What on earth are you doing Man? The only possible excuse for not playing this gaming masterpiece is if you don't own a Switch lol
Well that was fun!!!
Lol, I searched in the right kingdom but couldn't find it. I looked it up and I feel like a ass now. I could have easily found it on my own if I gave it more thought.
@Marios-love-child dude Odyssey is not a masterpiece lol I'm a ultra Mario fan but this game was abit... Meh lol
I just hope the discovery is a hint to something additional when we get some DLC. Now that would be cool.
@NintyNate Completely agree. I'm hoping they're planning a sequel that will incorporate a large hub and more balanced Moon/Star collecting. Something about Odyssey just felt closed off and small - although I will add playing it after Zelda wouldn't have helped this...!
@nocdaes haha, this was worse than 3d world and the galaxy games... Everything was too easy and it was over way to quick and I don't see the point in costumes, I just wanted galaxy 3 like most fans did lol
Some new kingdom's and new characters like Rosalina , Peach, Daisy. WARIO, WALUIGI, Toad, Luigi and some different color Yoshi's that you can ride and have different powers and abilities would be a dream come true and bring back the final boss from Super Mario Bros. 2 .
@NintyNate I like Oddessy not my personal favorite alltime Mario game but I think it's a really good Mario game ., the Mario game that I thought was like meh., was the Super Mario 3D World on the Wii U I liked it but it just seemed to easy and didn't grab my attention for long and I hated the camera in that game definitely my least favorite Mario title.
