You can't keep a good bad guy down and Geese Howard certainly just keeps on going; the proverbial thorn on the Bogard brothers and South Town paw is coming back next week once again to make life miserable for people of good values and kittens... probably kittens (he always seemed like a dog person to us). HAMSTER is keeping up its current flawless weekly run of Neo Geo classics with the very first Real Bout Fatal Fury, which heads to the Switch eShop next week (8th March) for the usual price of $7.99/€6.99/£6.29.
This game was the first in a successful spin off of the original Fatal Fury series that would eventually lead to the sublime Garou: Mark Of The Wolves. Will you be bouting for real next week or will you patiently wait and see if the other chapters show up? Burn knuckle those comments below because we've ran out of SNK puns for this one.

Each lonely night I got through without this game became my victory.
Do I jump on this one or wait for another Real Bout? Decisions. My Switch is full of games.
Dear Hamster, I am losing faith in your ability to deliver an arcade version of THE BEST baseball game to every grace a Nintendo console. Spring Training is underway; the time is now for Baseball Stars Professional. Love, BDR
Looking forward to this! Real Bout FF and Real Bout FF Special are great. I love the updated graphics of Special and both games have different storylines ( for what that's worth). Both games will be worth getting imo. RBFF 2 is good as well but more so as 2 player experience.
I became numb towards these
Neo Geo fighting games.
Perfect emulation + disabled censorship = SOLD!
Of course he is a dog person. He has Billy!
Easily my favorite of these series.
Love the Real Bout games.
@sinalefa I guess we should call him Billy Kanine now.
@YamAsereht Disabled censorship?
I will snatch it up the moment it release. I need every NeoGeo fighter in my life now. This will make up for me missing the NeoGeo back in the 90s.
It's getting so hard for these fighters to remain relevant now. With Garou: Mark of the Wolves, it's really hard to warrant picking up a ton of others. I do need to get Fatal Fury 2 though. Just for nostalgia's sake. That's the one that got me into the series on Genesis.
Real bout special won’t be far off now!
@Toshiro_Baloney Majority of RBFF ports are censored. This one will let you enable and disable that on the fly.

So tempted to bite as the PS1 version of this game was the first Neo Geo fighter I got really into, but I should probably wait for RB Special or RB 2 as they are better games in my opinion.
Unmissable.
