Looks like a great game for Animal Crossing fans

I can’t wait to encounter King Kong!

This game always seemed pretty interesting but I always had too many other great indie games to get.

This game is great. It was poorly reviewed on this site because it didn't hold the reviewers hand enough. Look at reviews elsewhere. They have also patched all of the performance issues and most importantly - updated with a new lovely icon for the home screen.

@getyourak So the performance issues many reviewers pointed out previously were eradicated? 'Cos that's what was holding me back, despite my interest in the game (has been on my steam wishlist for ages ^^).

@Ralek85 As far as I can tell yes. I noticed a huge difference. Haven't experienced problems since. I also enjoyed the hell out of the game even when there were major issues (such as the catapult never firing after you built it haha).

@getyourak Thanks for the input! Seeing as the game 25% off right now, I decided to pick it up. Might still be a while before I get a chance to really get into it, because I wanna finish Xenoblade first, but I'm definitely looking forward to it!

I love it when this happens, not one to complain buying extra content via DLC but when a developer supports their product by expanding it for free its a damn nice reward, gets me interested in firing the game up again too.

Never noticed any problems performance wise and I got it when it launched...

I love this game. I play like 20 minutes a day. It doesn’t hold your hand and I refuse to look up stuff. Still can’t beat 5th island yet but it’s just a fun game to play.

Great game but I think the farthest I have gotten yet is 3 islands cleared by boat.

Just beat Skull Island. It took three tries. Victory on Day 31. Careful: you have to destroy both portals on the edge of the island before either one regenerates after several days. Mandatory: bring the baker and either the warhorse or unicorn.
