Superbeat: Xonic has been on our radar for a while now and was initially scheduled to release on Switch on October 3rd. Despite that date having now been and gone, we've been told the game is still heading to the console and, luckily, there isn't too long to wait. North America will be able to grab a copy on November 21st, with Europe having to wait just a little bit longer until November 30th for the digital version and December 8th for the physical one.
The game will add yet another entry to the ever-growing catalogue of rhythm games on the Switch eShop - the likes of VOEZ and Deemo have been utterly wonderful and we hope that this one can continue that trend. The game's publisher has uploaded a series of YouTube videos to celebrate the new release date (and show off some of the game, of course) which you can check out below.
If that's not enough good news for you, though, you'll be very pleased to know that players who buy the game on Switch will be able to download seven extra songs free of charge:
7 free DLC songs for Switch users!
1. Rackin Gravity by 7 Sequence
2. Neko-kun by Basiscape
3. Select, Start by Steven Silo
4. Donut Island by Steven Silo
5. Oh-Wei-Oh by Bentley Jones
6. STUTTA 2.0 by Bentley Jones
7. Talk 2 U by Bentley Jones
Our friends over at Push Square really enjoyed the game when it released on PS4 earlier in the year so we have high hopes for the game on Switch too. Time to get your groove on (or whatever the kids say).

Have this on Vita. Not sure I will double dip
@kobashi100 I have it on Vita too. I really liked a lot of the music, but I found it frantically hard! I was hoping for a game that I could chill out with. This wasn't t!
I'm ok with with this delay. October was hurting the budget. Already sold my vita copy. Will be looking forward to this next month.
@Curlynob yeah it does get difficult. I wasn't a massive fan.
I prefer Deemo or Voez ! Plus they have some better soundtrack IMO.
Been adoring DEEMO lately. This looks decent but the difficulty is off putting as I like to relax with these kind of games.
If the price isn't in the DEEMO range I could be swaded as Rhythm games are my jam on Switch.
I thought I had missed it but I see it was delayed. But now it feels too close to Battlefront 2.
I hope they patch Deemo soon to get physical controls. Then I will get it.
I don't know what difficulty that clip was on, but if that's normal I'm not even in the slightest bit interested as that's fast and coming at multiple angles. I don't mind a build up but if that's how it is out of the gate aside from the usual given training first beat no way.
Everytime I see "Xonic" I think of this being another character in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe or a form of Sonic lol
Not for me.... but looks cool for those interested!
