Nintendo systems certainly serve up plenty of games to please those with a love of retro-styled visuals, with various developers producing handsome pixel-based games. One that's caught out eye is Kid Tripp, an auto-running platformer available on iOS but also heading to the 3DS and Nintendo Switch eShop.
Developer Four Horses (Digger Dan DX) released an updated trailer over the weekend to showcase the 3DS version, and we think it's looking rather good.
Kid Tripp is still due this year in North America, Europe, Australia / New Zealand and Japan.
Do you like the look of this?

If this were an actual platform adventure game instead of an endless runner I would be really interested, because it looks cool. But, I'm not particularly excited by endless runners.
To much runner for me
If it's cheap, then this could be fun!
Definitely looking like a budget-priced experience. I'm intrigued by its really retro look combined with the runner genre.
@impurekind It is an "endless runner" only in style. The game is still level based.
@18wonders Yeah, but it's the endless runner style of gameplay I'm taking about, where the character is just continuously moving and you're simply timing responses to basically avoid ending the run (before you reach the level exit). There's no actual ability to stop, look around, search for secrets, go in different directions as and when you choose, try lots of different approaches, etc--like a proper traditional platformer. And, that's fine for a whole lot of people; it's just not really my bag. But, it looks cool for what it is.
Will be downloading a copy onto both of my 3DS'. Can't wait to play this. Have been waiting YEARS! Literally.
I'm waiting for Switch version. Maldita Castilla DX should release on Switch too.
I believe @pixelman made this game
Also I played the iOS version and it was really good, so everyone should pick this up
