We think it's fair to say that My Nintendo has had a mixed reception since launching as the new loyalty service from the big N. It's offered some unique rewards, including its own game with My Nintendo Picross: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, but has also failed to inspire with some of its other options. Its latest additions in Europe point to a continually dynamic approach in adding new rewards, but are likely to earn some criticism nevertheless.
In Europe two more options have been added, but they're only available for a short time, highlighting the potential for greater flexibility in future. The actual rewards aren't particularly exciting, though.
- Kirby's Dream Course (New 3DS Virtual Console) - 50% discount (25 Gold coins until 23rd June 2016)
- Wii Karaoke U by JOYSOUND (Wii U eShop) - 1 hour ticket (100 Platinum coins until 1st July 2016)
Such short turnarounds hopefully mean there'll be even more frequent updates, in Europe at least. Nintendo of America's planned E3 eShop discounts will also offer incentives for My Nintendo members, too, though details on that are yet to be revealed.
Thanks to all that sent this in.

I like the Karaoke ticket idea. That's what MyNintendo should offer more. My platinum coins are just piling up now cause nothing is worth it.
I stopped bothering with My Nintendo because NoA isn't doing anything.
i won't bother with nintendo anymore + I'm not expecting anything from them TBH
@peeks Yet, you are here commenting on a nintendo related site. The world is awesome.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE hahaa, my feelings exactly.
My Nintendo's been pretty good in Europe at least: free games and discounts aplenty.
Gold points for physical games please!
@SLIGEACH_EIRE I'm with you Alan.
@YouSeemFRAZZLED
They're comfy and easy to wear!
I like getting 3DS themes etc but there is definitely room for improvement.
@Fandabidozi I hope they have hearts on them.
I noticed these earlier, what a let down.
@Mr_Zurkon
I like the cut of your jib 😉
I decided to grab Dream Course, since playing snippets of it on that amiibo classics thing on Wii U.
Weird to throw a discount like that, instead of something specifically for Robobot.
Also, the Karaoke thing is only redeemable one time, which is, eh...
Great never played DreamCourse and was planning on downloading. First gold offer used!
Good deal but sadly I don't own the N3DS so I can't get it.
Well, I was interested in Kirby's Dream Course and should get some gold coins from buying a few things from the eshop sale, so think I'll take advantage of this offer!
Kirby's Dream Course being £7 makes me think this "discount" is more "pay a reasonable price"
Thank you for putting Europe in the title TW.
@KodyDawg I'm pretty sure Nintendo has forgotten all about Club Sports. When was the last time it had a free weekend or was on sale or it showed up in the eShop? It was a modular online game, they could have kept it going by adding more sports, like Splatoon and SSB and MK8 have done, only they could have kept charging $10 each. Wii Sports had follow up Sports Resort, Nintendo has forgotten all about sports this gen, no baseball or soccer either, just a tennis game with 1 arena. Sometimes it feels like Nintendo has forgotten all about games this gen altogether.
"Just for you" - really?
Wouldn't mind Kirby Picross though, I can't seem to get enough Picross lately. Also I want Metroid Picross too, please can we have more freebies Nintendo.
I actually do use Wii Karaoke U a lot, the library of songs is massive and it's an excellent idea to rent the software out for a fun night with the housemates. Nice little bonus to get an hourly session in at some point!
Is this a joke?
Finally something interesting! The Karaoke ticket, it really helps me to actually save some money, instead of requiring me to spend money to spend less.
Does anyone know, or has already tried, if the Karaoke ticket can be purchased more than one time?
@wazlon Yeah, that's a bit misleading! They seem to be using "Just for you!" to mean that the reward is tied to your account (non-transferable) rather than a code that could be redeemed on any console. It doesn't mean what is sounds like it should - a discount chosen for you based on previous purchases or account activity.
Damn 20 coins i have not 25 cant get that kirby...
oh wait not eu. mb
@Sakura A very crafty choice of words if you ask me
Hm. Japan got the Kid Icarus shorts, we get a discount on a SNES game that only a fraction of 3DS owners can take advantage of.
When are they gonna put more DS games for 3DS? Having WarioWare Touched as a 3DS download was great, but what about the other great DS games?
Nintendo proved that they could put DS games on the eShop if they wanted to, but now they're not doing anything with it. I assume they might put another one up when the WarioWare offer expires at the end of the month, but one game every three months makes the Virtual Console service seem like a bullet train.
I just want a copy of Super Mario 64 DS saved to my SD Card is all.
@wazlon I asked them with their live chat support thing, they told me it is because you can't give them away as they are applied directly to your account
