Yesterday, we reported on the rumour that Lego Dimensions was getting a massive helping of new IP, including the likes of Ghostbusters, The Goonies and even Mission Impossible. Today, we've got a fresh rumour to report involving another iconic '80s property: Gremlins.
The cute and cuddly Gizmo has been spotted in a promotional video relating to a new Lego Dimensions announcement, which is expected tomorrow:
Given that Gizmo isn't a fan of water, this following clip makes more sense:

Guess we'll find out for sure tomorrow.

They deleted the original video and reuploaded it without the gremlin.
Gremlins and Goonies? Maybe they can make a Breakfast Club level set.
Don't you, forget about me, don't don't don't don't...
OK seriously, Gremlins is a great idea.
Hmmm. ...I wonder what other property will they use?
This would be good.
And surely they can convince Disney to license some Marvel, especially some X-Men?
@rjejr Epic post! Just bring back all the 80's nostalgia! How about Short Circuit and ET. Never cared for ET but he would be a great addition!
@rjejr oh and as long as I get to here HEY YOU GUYS!! I'm good to go!
@MadAdam81 why would Marvel want to promote X Men?
With all of the properties at hand, and assuming that the rumor from the other day was true, Lego Dimensions is essentially the crossover I never knew I wanted.
@Spoony_Tech E.T. and any Nintendo device that has a touch screen would probably make a great combination...
And because of you mentioning Short Circuit, I am now hearing "Who's Johnny" in my head, along with "Input Stephanie, more input!"...
@ThanosReXXX @Spoony_Tech I actually accidentally watched Short Circuit on tv about a month ago, Steve Guttenberg always pulls me in. I could see that working, but they would probably just do Wall-E instead.
And somebody in the game needs to play tic-tac-toe. Maybe against the final villain, as homage to Bond. Though it's possible Austin Powers already did.

With gremlins being my fave movie I am happy. Just get Johnny 5 on there too please.
@MadAdam81
Uhhh X-Men is not Marvel...anymore
@SpareChnge that's an exaggeration, Fox only owns the movie rights. But yes, Marvel is trying not to focus on them too much because of not having the screen rights (at this point).
@dumedum o, ok then YES X-MEN LEGO!
My kids want Loony Toons......please!!
Why is this a rumour? Considering that the video came from the official LEGO Dimensions Twitter account, and the fact that the re-uploaded version of the video still includes Gizmo's ear in the bottom left of the video, surely it has been completely confirmed? Also, he world that the Wicked Witch is flying through is from Adventure Time, the Pillow Kingdom.
@rjejr LOL, now I want a Molly Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall mini-fig!
@Mr_Zurkon You know, those 2 kind of look like Lego figures, w/ interchangeable little yellow heads.
Man, I'm going to have that song in my head for like 3 days now. Not as if it hasn't been stuck in there for the past 30 years.
Do they have Marty and Doc yet?
Gremlins, yes please! Also, great ideas from other comments. Johnny 5 and ET would be great.
Something with evidence! Hooray.
@rjejr Seeing you posted that pic of Anthony Michael Hall made me think of Kelly LeBrock in
The Woman in RedWeird Science. Now THAT would make some nice Amiibos...EDIT: wrong movie...
If that really is an Adventure Time world as some people have been saying, then I'd say the previous rumor is as good as confirmed.
Can't wait for tomorrow.

"When it comes to rings, you don't get in Gollum's way. Unless you're the new guy on the block!"
Oh shnap
@rjejr And so it begins...

This weekend the fun already starts with several pre-shows.
Stuff is already leaking too:

I actually find it disgusting a giant corporation inhaling random IP's of historical significance and turning them into subpar video games for massive profit. F. this company. I even hated Legos as a kid, I found them obnoxious even back in the 80s.
@ThanosReXXX I don't think they'd like it if I posted a Weird Science pic. Would make a nice amiibo though.
And thanks for the blue haired woman vid, I didn't know you cared. I'll watch it tomorrow though, it's late and I'm going to bed.
This IS MADNESS!
@SpareChnge Movie rights and video game right and comic rights and TV rights and all the different toy rights are very different things when it comes to Marvel.
Fox has TV & Movie rights for X-Men but nothing else.
@rjejr "And thanks for the blue haired woman vid, I didn't know you cared"
Hey man, I'd take my order of Ashley Jenkins with a side of Meg Turney every damn day of the week...
@ThanosReXXX I'm too shallow for names, but if those are the woman in the vid, works for me. Still need to watch it, maybe after breakfast.
@ThanosReXXX @OdnetninAges @Spoony_Tech
Leaked/rumoured spoilers, though they look VERY legit to me - you've been warned. Kinda wish I hadn't looked myself, but since I did...
Did I mention spoilers? Just checking.

@rjejr A Team is so mine!! 😀
@rjejr I pity the fool who leaked this...
@rjejr "but if those are the woman in the vid"
Yep, the blonde one is Ashley, Anime-colored hair is Meg. Ashley used to be a pro-gamer before she joined The Know. She is a former Rainbow Six Vegas pro and was a member of The Frag Dolls from 2004-2008. Meg is also a nude and semi-nude model with her own channel, and she does cosplay, so you'll see her hair change color several times during the year. Before it was red, pink, then purple and now it is blue. (again, since she already had that once before)
