Pokémon has been around for almost two decades now, and has fans of all ages. It's insanely popular with kids but those who grew up with Pikachu and company still buy the games, invest in the merchandise and generally continue to hold a candle for the brand - despite its often shady history.
It would seem that The Pokémon Company has finally recognised this fact, and is publishing a Pokémon magazine which is aimed at adult fans. Named Pokémon Life (there goes our chance for a spin-off Pokémon site, then), this magazine features developer interviews, art showcases, merchandise offers and features on new and old games in the series.
The first issue is due out on July 30th and will cost 1,200 Yen. It comes with a poster and a Pikachu card case. Would you like to see something similar here in the West?

So no more chances for Pokémon life site, gotta name it pokelife then.
I bought and played Pokemon Red as a teen, enjoyed it but never played another Pokemon game since then.
@DreamOn
Why not pick up a new one then? OmegaRuby might be a good one to try.
Sounds much better than what the Norwegian Pokémon magazine was
I would instantly buy this. The childish nature of our Dutch Pokémon magazine always bugged me. Just lots of easy puzzles and anime-based comics. I get that it's for kids, but that doesn't make it something for me. This on the other hand actually sounds really interesting.
Only in Japan...
@Poketendo ik weet hoe het voelt. Ik krijg het idee dat meer volwassenen het spelen dan kinderen.
I really want this to come westward, but I doubt it will after Official Nintendo Magazine was shut down last year.
At least they're aware that we are growing up.
@Poketendo You get actualy comics?
In Norway we only get stories written like a childrens book, not in comic form -.-
And yeah, we also had uninteresting puzzles.And two-four pages promoting "new" stuff.
The Pokemon formula is designed to appeal to a new generation of kids every time but it's nice when Nintendo acknowledges the "kids" that never quite moved on every now and then.
This sounds nice, I hope the Pokemon Center site starts selling an English version.
@Tobias95 Well yeah, that is how we get them too. I just refer to them as comics because that's easier
@EarthboundBenjy The gen 3 remakes are bad, though.
