What are the chances this comes to NA? I'd love the overalls 3DS.
Those are AWESOME!
But I really only want Kid Icarus. I want it so bad. T_T
Nice, I've bought 4 3DS games in the last month(3 of which are first party) so I'm sorted.
At least I've got buttons on the way.
Darnit, I'm only planning on buying one 3DS game in the next few months... MK7. Might pick up something else... already finished SM3DL from a friend.
I'll get the free Kid Icarus but I think I'm not eligible for Mario 3DS draw as I'm from Finland and here we don't actually have Club Nintendo... I just register cards that some games still include but I have to use my star points for Nintendo Points as they don't send their items here.
I hope I can find Club Nintendo cards from my Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7 and Super Pokémon Rumble or at least in two of them when I buy 'em.
Damn! I already qualify! :3
Not for Scandinavians, like always.
sweden dosent have club nintendo
So, Reggie...
I just did something in a happy place.
I've registered Mario 3D Land & Kart so I'm in
This is awesome! I was planning on getting Ikarus anyway and of course I wanna win one of them special 3DS consoles. ^^
I don't get why Scandinavia is excluded out of stuff like this. I hope you guys can at least convince a friend in another country to register those points and send the goodies from the club to Scandinavia...
You had me at "win"...
you lost me at "Europe"
Brilliant, already registered SM3DL, got MK7 to register at Christmas. Free Kid Icarus.
Well, I might just have to find one of those games for cheap if this comes to NA.
Nice little promotion. A free copy of 3D classics Kid Icarus is not to be sniffed at.
No Italy, and we have Nintendo Club
Why no Italy?
@h0nden and @Rockmirth: You can still join UK Club Nintendo if you have cards. At least here in Finland some of the games have them and I can then turn my stars into Nintendo Points and use them on my Wii after changing the country to UK and connecting it to Club Nintendo. I'm pretty sure that you can also get the Kid Icarus game if you change your 3DS country and connect it. You just need the Club Nintendo cards.
And nice avatar h0nden, I just played SF2 today
Hoping this promotion comes to the US as well.
@Late
Does the Nintendo Points work on 3DS? and how do you recieve theme?
Kinda lame since the two of those games I have, I already registered. Oh well!
So if you register 2, you'll get a download code right?
I've just registered the new mario games. If it comes to me, I'll offer it to my nephew.
those are ugly as sin.
@Link_Belmont: Nintendo Points are only for Wii/DSi. You can get them from Club Nintendo by collecting Club Nintendo cards which come with games (but not all games have them here as Finland and Sweden aren't part of Club Nintendo) and use their codes to get stars which you can then turn into Nintendo Points and spend on your Wii/DSi.
@Late
I have 2000 club Nin points and i dont know what i should get! I cant get things that i can touch but i can only get downloadeble stuff. So i just cant get the Nintendo points... WHY DONT THEY CHANGE IT TOO ESHOP POINTS/CREDITS!!!!
@Link_Belmont: I think they'll change it but there's no telling when. I could get Bookworm (not released here but can be found in UK eShop) if they'd make eShop credits available through Club Nintendo. We just have to wait.
And don't forget to try if you can get the free Kid Icarus, I suppose it's possible
@Late
Thanks for sharing all you knowledge =) I've registered three products and ended up with 1500 points. And I must say it's really cheap of Nintendo to only give us 300 Wii points for a total of about 100 spent pounds
Well. It might come in handy if we'll be able to get som eShop credits. Since the games are cheaper there as well.
But I will definitely try to get 3D Kid Icarus now.
yay just registered 4 games got another 1000★s will get sent a code to get free icarus game and might win a 2nd 3ds.cant grumble at that.
Why would I want a 3DS if I register 3DS games? Chances are that you just might already have one if you register games for it.
@h0nden: You're welcome or should I say varsågod. I hope we can get the Kid Icarus
I already have 4 of those games plus I will also get RE:Revelations.
And free Icarus
That Mario 3DS should've been packaged with Super Mario 3D Land instead of that Flame Red one. I would've bought that one at a heartbeat!
What happens if you already had most of those titles registered before November the 1st.
I will be getting Mario Kart 7 for christmas but unless I manage to get Revelations before the end of January I am going to struggle qualifying for this offer.
@Late
Haha!!! But i own 3 of those titles and none off the had Club Nintendo point!! Why!!!
I don't need another 3DS, but man do I want the 3D Kid Icarus, seeing as how I have pretty much every big 3DS game to date.
wait, so in europe you get points for registering games that aren't made by nintendo? in the U.S. club Nintendo you can only register first party games.
Hope they bring those to America.
I will enter for the Toad 3DS because there is more chance I will get that on than the Mario one.
Come on This needs to come to NA I already qualify
O_O
Reggies body better be ready for a beating if NOA doesn't annouce this soon mumbles vague threats under breath
Lol, this is kinda ironic. If you already have two 3DS games, then you must have a 3DS. Thnerefore, you don't need to win one.
But then again you could sell it if you get one of these beauties.
This comes to late for me since I bought a 3DS on 25 November! But it seems I will get a free Kid Icarus 3D! So it's not all bad!
Meanwhile, in NA...
But you guys who went and bought these games before November 1st? Nah, screw you guys, you don't deserve to get the maximum number of entries you should have for being an early adopter.
Off to mope in a corner with my copies of DOA, SSF4, Pilotwings, Ocarina and nintendogs...
@Linkstrikesback
Exactly... and in the meantime we will hold off on giving you the rest of the Ambassador games as well. lol
I think I'll hold off on registering Ocarina of Time 3D and Mario Kart 7...just in case America gets something like this.
Great, no Italy. Our country has lost so much reputation we don't even get considered for commercial competitions. Way to go.
AWESOME, can't wait! . . . Oh, it's only in Europe. Darn
Can I borrow someone's 3DS serial number plz? XD aww only for Europe?
NO i already registered OoT in septenmber! If America gets something i wont get a chance to win the 3DS! I dont think non nintend games like Lego starwars: clone wars can be registered. I didnt like the game, a waste of 40$ =(.
Need this offer! Going to buy all the games I can before January 31st. Its only in Europe?!!! AHHHHHH!
Please be nice Nintendo Australia and let us get this promotion! If only for the free Kid Icarus game. Although thinking about it, I could just buy 2 UK codes off ebay and register them on my UK account I already have, then change my 3DS country and download the game! Right?
Give me the Princess Peach one and I'll be fine.
What's the point off offering free limited edition 3DS's to gamers who already have a 3DS? Are these limited edition designs really worth the hassle of trying to get Nintendo to transfer over your account and game data?
Well I registered Super Mario 3D Land when I bought it, and just registered Mario Kart 7 today. It gave me a notice saying Mario Kart was one of many games I could register to get Kid Icarus, but got no code. Is this just me, or do I not fit the criteria somehow? :/
I've entered my email with club Nintendo and have 2 emails from Nintendo Newsletter summarising the deal they're offering, but neither says I'm in.
@Late Tack Oh and I forgot to tell you that I like your taste in old strategy RPG's! I hope we'll get the game gear version for 3DS VC.
@Link_Belmont You probably bought them in Sweden? Me and Late are importing from the UK. You should do to. And save some money
@h0nden: Yeah. I like old strategy RPG's like Shining Force but I also play newer games. I haven't played the Game Gear games but I'm surely getting all the Shining Force games that come available here.
And I'm not importing all my games from the UK, actually I imported for the first time a couple of days ago. Some of the games here still include Club Nintendo cards for whatever reason. I'm hoping that Mario Kart 7 will include Club Nintendo card as I'm going to buy it tomorrow
@H0nden
Is it realy cheeper too buy them from UK? What site is recomended?
Upside: Can't wait until this comes to NoA!
Downside: it's going to be rather hard to find a polka dotted toadstool expansion pad...
I was worried because I already registered some valid games before November 1st, however, they all counted so it's all good...
And... that means since launch, we've had 23 free games!
@md1500 how did you know if they counted. I had five valid games registered before November 1st and the only email I have had recieved from Nintendo about this was a description of the offer and what I need to do to qualify? Is there any other way of knowing if you are going to recieve the Kid Icarus 3D code.
@raptor78 I went to the competition website linked from Club Nintendo. It said I'd entered 5 times, which is the maximum number of times you can enter.
I only registered SM3DL and MK7 this month, which means the other games I've registered must have counted.
Screenshot of the page I see:
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a194/md1500/screenshot.jpg
I'll get on it.
Hmm. I just registered Mario Kart 7 and Mario 3D Land, and I got the Kid Icarus confirmation. But I haven't seen any sign of the banner for the 3DS draw.
@Link_Belmont If you compare to GAME or Gamestop, you save about 150kr. If it's webhallen, it is of course less then that.
But Nintendo console games are cheaper in general. The 360 games are several 100kr cheaper in the UK. I buy my games from Amazon UK. But Zavvi are alright too.
i would much rather have chance to win a zelda 3ds. lets hope it comes to the u.s.
Occasional free stuff and promotions like this really make me love Nintendo. The 3DS may not have come far, but I have the Ambassador games as well as Excitebike, 4 Swords and soon to come Kid Icarus because of these offers. Makes up for their occasional mistakes. :3
Great stuff here. Getting a free Kid Icarus sure feels good and even with the slim chances the prospect of getting a Toad themed 3DS is nothing to scoff at either.
Sorry for everyone under 18 who's left out of the competiton though.
@Mario_Party_Fan_999 (60.): From what i've heard that should work perfectly.
@BulbasaurusRex (62.): I hope / think that after the update on Thursday every 3DS owner should be able to tranfer everything without any hassle.
_@ everybody that registered more than one game before November 1st (38. Raptor78 and 52. Linkstrikesback):
Visit the contest page again and you might be pleasantly surprised. I know I was.
Ok I just want to make sure I don't add a code until I know for sure. (I hold onto my codes until I need to enter them).
I added Ocarina of time back in june for the soundtrack giveaway, Now I have dead or alive. If i enter dead or alive, will I get kid Icarus for free?
The reason I asking this is because of that November 1st starting point is bothering me.
EDIT: Damn I took a chance and it didn't work. It tells me I still need to add another promo game to get the game. Even though I did only at an earlier date.
i could never win any of those because nintendo is NOT an international company. i am outside the "serviceable areas" and i can't take advantage of neither my device nor home town's privileges. i am a european citizen with a US device living abroad, and nintendo doesn't offer me any kind of support or benefits!
Why is it 18 plus? I am almost 18, and would like me some special 3DS to!
Can we change our club nintendo birth date? =O
This promotion better make it to the U.S. I already bought two 3DS's, I would love to have that sweet Mario 3DS! NoA, I deserve a free 3DS!
I want Kid Icarus. I'm curious about it.
I'd like it too, two steps forward and one step back right NOA? Do some good will, then alienate the market a little more. You know how it is, you can't just keep doing all the good stuff or people might start having hopes and expectations.
ALL MY CODES DONT WORK AND THEY ARE NEW GAMES SO WHERE DO I REGISTER AT SINCE CLUB NINTENDO DOESNT WORK?
I CANNOT WIN!!! First, I don't live in UK... Second, I registered LoZ OoT 3D in OCTOBER!! sigh. At least I can still buy Kid Icarus.
This is not awesome. Yet does not Nintendo tries to keep it fair they get 3 awesome RPGs we get 1 of those. They get a contest we don't. They get a free screening of Professor Layton and the Etenal Diva we get it on DVD for $8.00. They get Eurosport and Netflix, Canada most likely will get only Netflix. They get Kid Icarus we don't. I have been devoted to Nintendo since the age of 5. I have joined Club Nintendo since it was "My Nintendo" We only get Elite Club Nintendo staduses other than that what?
I won I got the princess peach, i only entered for the sake of entering though and i wanted the game
