Metroid Prime 2: Echoes: How To Defeat Alpha Blogg

Welcome to another boss guide in our full walkthrough of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes; this time, we're taking on the Alpha Blogg in the underwater section of the Torvus Bog.

This boss is similar to a bullfight, only underwater, and instead of a bull, it's a giant fish. By the way, you're the red cape.

How to defeat the Alpha Blogg

The Alpha Blogg isn't very difficult. Despite acquiring the Gravity Boost recently, we actually recommend staying on the ground for this fight. The Alpha Blogg will charge around the area a lot; this is our opportunity to damage it. The key to winning is to go in front of it and aim for its open mouth just before it charges. Strafe out of the way when it charges towards the wall.

Wait for it to charge again, and rinse and repeat. This boss doesn't have many resistances, so we recommend using your standard charged energy beam to get one Death Star-style perfect shot each time it charges. The timing may take some getting used to, but persevere, and you'll defeat this watery waste without much trouble.
