Hmm I doubt I will reach below 4 hours in any difficulty.
@edgedino I doubted I could 100% the game and yet here we are. I'm certainly gonna try this
@MrDinosaur I'm fine with 100% and under 8 hours. I don't think I have the stamina to try for under 4.
@Lyricana I'm attempting <4 hours now on hard but I don't have high hopes of actually making it. On the other had I will be happy with <8 hours as well as my first finish on normal was 9. And I will take a break from Dread afterwards
Hi guys, my first playthrough was +8hrs in normal mode (of course...) and I have a question:
I the difficult/time stack? I mean, If I finish the second playthrough on hard mode under 4 hours, will I get all the missing images or only the image of Hard under 4?
I freaking did 100 percent. Didn't think I had the dexterity to do all that shine spark madness, but here I am.
I did Normal mode on my first playthrough in 7.5 hours.
Then copied that save and did 100% item collection on it in another 2.5 making for a total of 10 hours.
So I decided to start Hard Mode on a separate save file (currently 4 hours into it, but am moving faster than in my Normal save, so I believe I should shave off at least an hour off my original time). However, I'm terribly disappointed by the fact that unlockables are NOT shared between saves. That's just...dumb. And naturally, I discovered this after going through more than half of hard mode...So I guess my second playthrough on Hard will be on my original save file and I'll hopefully manage to snag all rewards for playing on Hard in one go...but I doubt I'll be able to beat it in under 4 hours soon...
@RCGamer, since I unlocked 2 endings for beating the game under 8 hours on the first go, my guess is if you beat it on Hard under 4 hours the first time round, you'll unlock all 3 Hard Mode endings at the same time.
@RCGamer I was wondering the same thing myself. I thought for all the hype that there would be a lot more unlockable content…SPOILER ALERT………
Why couldn't they make the Metroid suit playable from NG?? Doesn't have to be the hyper beam but just a selectable suit of that would have been amazing!
@nymbosox I would like to access the Super/Other M suit, the fusion suit and Samus Returns suit. That would be cool, to play with different suits. I would buy that as DLC, as for the suit at the end of the game, I wouldn't buy that, because it is already in the game, but it would be cool to use it throughout. I also saw smash bros mods, where you could play as Ravenbeak and that final suit. Shame that's not official dlc for smash.
I'm finding the normal mode to be hard enough, but I would like to unlock everything
@edgedino i said the same thing but after you do a couple playthroughs you will start to notice that Nintendo cleverly designed a very linear path that you can follow the whole time without ever really getting lost or stray too far from the main path
I finally did 100% on hard in under 4 hours for the final artwork, did it in 3:19:26, not a speed-running level of great but i think its pretty decent lol
@RCGamer I neglected to answer your first question but yes it does stack
@nymbosox thanks, but it doesn't stack difficult, only time. i finished my first playthrough on Normal +8 and get 1 image. My second playthrough was hard under 4 and I received 3 images, missing between 4-8 normal, under 4 normal and the bonus. One day I'll get it
@RCGamer I should have elaborated lol, it stacks in its own difficulty. For example, if i beat it on hard in less than 4 hours ill get all three images, same with normal. So basically you could get all 7 unlockable images with no more than 2 playthroughs
