I will shamelessly put my Christmas handmade Nintendo stuff here
Christmas tree ornaments
Can we talk about how the Nintendo evolution poster doesn't have a Wii U?
Ah yes, my favorite Nintendo character: “Super Space Bounty Hunter”
What the hell kinda sized stockings do you have 😂
No Wii U on the 'Evolution' poster. Very sad.
IDK. I'm getting less keen on collecting nicknacks as I get older. Just seems like junk to me.

@Zuljaras The detail on those are insane. Great Job!
Some of these things are cute but I can hardly afford all the games I would like. How am I managing these?
...and how big is everyone's stockings? These are worthy of being a main gift, not a side dish 😅
That wooden map is pretty sweet. Makes me want to put some caterpillars on it and see who gets to death mountain first.
@nukatha yeah, actually quite disappointed with that.
Some pretty cool stuff. The wooden Hyrule map and Koholint Island dock are the ones I would be the most interested in, but the neon lights are pretty cool too.
@Cheez lol yeah I was gonna point this out. Like the artist said “no… we don’t talk about the Wii U”
@Zuljaras And i shamelessly appreciate you showing them off! They look great!! Do you make these just for fun for yourself or also for others?
@StefanN I made those for our Christmas tree this year I also have the Predator mask but it is not Nintendo related so I did not post it.
I also made some sculptures for other people as gifts
Still a hobbyist.
You’ve got 20 days until Christmas Day, that doesn’t feel like an early start to me! Some nice stuff here. I wish there was more official Nintendo Christmas decorations, but if there was I expect they’d mostly be Mario characters in the usual poses. How cute would Pikmin in little Christmas hats all over the tree be though?
I love that wood carved Zelda map! Really tempted to get it for myself!
I personally love all the cool stuff that fans make. It may be unlicensed, but a lot of it is very high quality.
Yeah whoever made that evolution poster was like most Nintendo fans.... Skipped the Wii U.... Still love my U!
@skycargav2000 I am one of those people, i skipped the WiiU, not sure why, & i have only played one once. Not sure why the WiiU was the only Nintendo Console I've never owned, what id do for WW and TP HD ports on the Switch.
I wonder if the same people who condemn ROMs also buy such things.
How would you fit these in a stocking?

@Zuljaras Ah nice, thank you! They look amazing!
@ShePenny idk hey, supporting small businesses/indy creators vs multinationals seems like a nice thing to do (esp. during a pandemic?)
@nevillebamshew how are they losing integrity with this article? They're not pushing anything illegal or dodgy. It's showcasing fan creations and supporting small businesses. And if they get a little commission if people click and buy, that helps pay for the site. I don't understand your issue.
@Baker1000 Exactly. And this kind of articles are 10000 better than one more article about the OLED model
That Kirby looks like a creepy blowup doll or that clay Mr.bill guy that goes Ooooooooohhhhhh noooooooooo x0
Some look nice but I wonder why mugs are always insanely expensive. 25 bucks for a mug...
The posters are my favorite, especially the rainbow one.
@HXLXIII
I also skipped the Wii U, and the reason was very simple: no new Zelda game, and no new Mario game (as in, a proper 3D mario, as opposed to "new" Super Mario Bros or "3D" Super Mario World).
I kept waiting for Nintendo to release a reason to drop hundreds of dollars on their new Mario+Zelda machine, and they never did.
Honestly when you get down to it the maths is pretty simple, and I'll never understand what point Nintendo were trying to prove.
@handyboots
Small business aren't entitled to using the intellectual property of others just because they feel like it. Copyright and IP laws exist to protect everyone, not just the people you pick and choose.
@ShePenny I totally agree, but I also think that's a slight oversimplification. In the case of Etsy, the products tend to be handmade and considered as 'fan art'. They also usually fill a gap in the market, in that the products available tend not to be available via other means. And regarding copyright & IP, the rights holders always have the option to report the infringing products in question via Etsy. It's actually really common for shops to be taken down for infringement (https://www.reddit.com/r/Etsy/comments/30i5c1/retsy_i_need_some_serious_advice_copyright/ for some further reading).
But yeah, these are generally harmless and you can often find some awesome stuff that exceeds the quality put out by officially licensed merch, so I'd rather give them my money than Ninty (they already get plenty of it anyway, ha!).
