When Nintendo needed a showpiece for the unique motion control system of their upcoming Wii console, their developers came up with the original Wii Sports title that was eventually packed in with the system. Needless to say, it's become one of the most beloved titles...

Poll Which Wii Sport Is The Best Wii Sport In Wii Sports (And Which Is The Worst)?
The oui sports and the non sports
Here's a fun little exercise: When you think of Wii Sports, which sport do you think of first? For me, it's Bowling. I got really good at lining up the ball just right to always get a strike, which is a far cry from my real-life bowling ability (which usually includes a lot of gutterballs). I only vaguely remember...
News This LEGO Ideas Project Would Be A Great Way To Return To Wii Sports Resort
We really miss Wuhu Island
Lego has already said it wants to create more Nintendo-themed sets in the future - so what could be next? While The Legend of Zelda might seem like an obvious pick, how about one based on Wuhu Island from Wii Sports Resort instead? That sounds pretty relaxing, actually. Lego and Nintendo fan 'Stacked Towels' has submitted...
Soapbox A Strange Desire For Switch Sports And A Return To Wii's Wuhu Island
Yes, including the cycling
The Wii, the Revolution, the era of motion controls, bathroom scales as peripherals and fun for all. It can be a bit of a trendy thing to tease the Wii, as if its concept of introducing new control schemes and luring traditional 'non-gamers' into being gamers was somehow bad - well, it was actually brilliant. Sure, the Wii...
Home, download and smartphone applications covered

Parent Trap I Really Miss The Nintendo Wii
Family Gamer's Andy Robertson remembers the good old days of waggle
Parents are notoriously bad for being sentimental. Whether it’s watching Monty Python, playing Tetris on the Game Boy or buying sweets by the ounce, I often catch myself getting more excited about introducing my children to the things I loved from my childhood than actually...
Video Learn About the Quirky History of Wii Sports and Its Role in Bringing Us Mii Characters
Wuhu Island could have been more important, too
Wii Sports is the biggest-selling retail game of all time. Sure, the fact it was bundled with many Wii systems outside of Japan made that a reality, but it's still an extraordinary statistic. It's a title with an interesting history, too, especially in its integral role in helping the concept of Mii...

About The Game
A New Standard in Game Control!
Wii Sports Resort is an immersive, expansive active-play game that includes a dozen fun resort-themed activities. It maintains the wide-ranging appeal that attracted millions to the original Wii Sports. Wii Sports Resort is easy to pick up and play, but comes coupled with deeper levels of play that are sure to challenge even the most experienced gamers. Wii Sports Resort whisks players away to a resort that's full of action, while introducing an unprecedented experience in physical reality. Wii Sports Resort comes bundled with a Wii MotionPlus™ accessory to provide players the most realistic, immersive experience possible – the slightest tilt, turn and twist of the Wii Remote™ controller is recognized. From the moment players skydive onto Wuhu Island, they're presented with a huge selection of fun activities that everyone can play.
FEATURES:
- Wuhu Island has so many things to do, there's never a dull moment. A dozen activities await visitors: Archery, Frisbee®, Basketball, Cycling, Canoeing, Power Cruising, Table Tennis, Air Sports, Bowling, Swordplay, Golf and Wakeboarding.
- The activities use the precision controls of the Wii MotionPlus accessory to help players come much closer to the physical reality of engaging in the actual sports. Every real-world action, whether it's a perfect drive on the fairway or a slice off the course, is meant to be faithfully replicated.
- Each activity has multiple fun challenges designed to keep visitors coming back for more. Basketball players might compete in a three-point shootout or jump into a three-on-three pickup game. Archery enthusiasts must aim for the bull's-eye across ever-increasing distances and obstacles.
- Different activities use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk™ controllers in different ways. For example, players hold the Wii Remote like a paddle in Canoeing, while in Cycling they use both arms to “pedal” with the two controllers. The Wii MotionPlus accessory picks up every nuance of motion and translates it onto the TV screen.
- Depending on the activity, players can compete solo or against other players. Some activities even let players team up to work cooperatively.

@timp29
I doubt the M+ would of added anything to Punch Out.
BRILLIANT
Is there a new version of wii sports golf on this? If so, can anyone shed any light on what it's going to be like? Thanks
well, i don't know too much about it, but it looks like easier game control, and maybe not so sensitive like the old one where when I pulled the remote back I hit the ball. But overall it looks much better than the first version.
What? It's not out yet?
I thought it came out June 22 in USA. Yet the only review i see is IGN australia.

usually i am a critic for some games, but when i bought it, it was amazing! i wish you could use the motionplus thingamabob for mariokart.
Watching that video reminds me how much fun this game is to play... Man, I wanna play it right now!
evey 1 has this game
It's amazing looking back at all the people who were excited for this game in 2019. One of the best games by my list.
how do you install the game?
A MASSIVE improvement to the Wii Sports title and an absolute MUST HAVE for your Wii/Wii U.
The games are expanded upon to which they have different modes, there's technically a freaking open-map exploration, some games make a return or even replaced with better versions (Such as : Bowling, Golf, Swordplay, Table Tennis, Etc.)
Each game has its own range of challenges for you to take on and acquire achievements.
It especially a good game if you're playing with friends.
Now sure, the game is not perfect as unless you really invest the time, the gameplay can get a bit old, especially if you're doing it alone, and there's not much else to do. But if you loved the previous Wii Sports game, you will love this one. Absolutely a must have.
