Review Ufouria: The Saga (Wii U eShop / NES)
A Ufouric experience
Retro-style indie platformers are all the rage these days, so you'd be forgiven for thinking Sunsoft's Ufouria: The Saga is simply another in the long line of 2D NES-inspired modern titles on the eShop like Shovel Knight, 1001 Spikes, and Insanity's Blade. Released in 19
Review Ufouria: The Saga (Wii Virtual Console / NES)
Easy Mode Metroid
The original Metroid was a ground-breaking game for its time, but it feels incredibly dated to anyone playing it for the first time now. The lack of a map makes navigating the seemingly endless identical corridors way more annoying than it should be for newcomers, whereas those who know the game inside out can beat it within an...

This is the one many of you have been asking for. If...

DSiWare galore!
DSiWare gets another massive load of new games today, but they're probably not the things you'll mostly be wanting to pay attention to - Both WiiWare and the Virtual Console only get one game each, but they're both great and more than worthy of a look-see. WiiWare: Jett Rocket (1000pts - Shin'en Multimedia) — A 3D platformer with...

I wonder if the other Hebereke games will come to VC.
Never heard of this game before. Looks really fun.
This looks awesome! Looking forward to its NA release. :3
Great music as is the case with all Sunsoft NES games.
Never heard of it before. Looks like a fun game.
I can't wait for this game to be released here! I also hope Sunsoft puts Mr. Gimick on the Virtual Console someday since it is a really great game! It kind of plays like Megaman.
Awwww. This and Mr. Gimmick look adorable. These two should be good games.
Now this is my kind of rock n' roll!
How did Sunsoft get such amazing music out of the primitive NES sound chip?
Never heard of this game, but it looks like a solid game. Great music too.
I want this game SO BAD, WHEN IS IT COMING OUT ;.;
It really doesn't look like a bad game! I might get it! I think it's worth it for 500 points...
I want this game so much.. le sigh.
cant wait for this to come to usa!
seems like its a lot of folks that never played this game that want it
im one of them!
I WANT this here in America! Reggie, do your magic!
nothin like old random games!
Wow. Never would have thought of combining Super Mario Bros. 2 and Zelda. This game has tons of charm, and pretty impressive looking for an NES title.

never heard of it.but it looks like a game full of originality quality and style.just look at those character animations! i think it just earned its place among my NES wishlist next to kirbys adventure and mario 3.
Im impressed actually, this is a must buy
This game is surprisingly cool. (and extremely odd when you stop to think about what's really happening)
For instance - I can't over the fact that (at points) I'm playing as a ghost with sunglasses. His special attack features him pulling his sunglasses down at which point his EYES fly out their sockets, float around the screen killing every enemy, and then float back to his eye sockets at which points he puts his sunglasses back up.
I thought I was going to pass on this simple NES Metroid clone, but this is easy and (when you really think about it) friggin' weird! I love it. I'm so glad this is on the Virtual Console.
Last night I beat Ufouria (after having to start over) and it's pretty cool. I dig it!
This is the kind of thing that makes me want to be able to buy points in denominations of 100.
This game is great. Hopefully Sunsoft will release some more obscure games, like Mr. Gimmick.
I remember playing this game when i was in 4th grade loved it back then and would still play it now
