Review SEGA 3D Classics Collection (3DS)
New Age nostalgia
For millions of kids around the world in the late '80s through the '90s, there was no greater debate than SEGA vs Nintendo. Schoolyards were home to impassioned debates about which company's box was the best. Everyone knows who won the war long term, but few know of some of the truly classic titles SEGA fans enjoyed during those...

Rumour A Miiverse Page Has Been Spotted for SEGA 3D Classics Collection 2
Keep those fingers crossed
Nintendo kicked off the 3D Classics line shortly after the 3DS eShop launched, offering gamers a chance at reliving retro games through a different perspective. Unfortunately, the company never took the idea much further beyond the initial few games, but SEGA has carried the torch and created dozens of 3D remasters from...
News SEGA 3D Classics Collection is Nowhere to be Seen in the UK Charts
Mario Kart 7 runs a lonely race in top 40
The weekly UK chart results have made for disappointing reading for Nintendo in the past few weeks; not much has changed this time around, though there are a couple of interesting points to consider. First of all, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has surprised no-one in arriving at number one, though its...
News Argos Seems to Have the UK Retail Exclusive for SEGA 3D Classics Collection
There's also a rad release trailer
SEGA 3D Classics Collection is rather good, bundling together plenty of delicious retro games - including some making their way out of Japan for the first time in their 3D form. This collection arrived in North America earlier in the year, and thankfully European gamers can now get in on the act. It's available on...

News Sega 3D Classics Dev M2 Is Developing The Legend Of Dark Witch 3 For 3DS
Consider us interested
The Legend of Dark Witch and its sequel can hardly be considered 3DS eShop classics, but they have their fans, and there's a good chance that the third outing will attract even more followers now that we know who is handling development duties. The Legend of Dark Witch 3 was teased back in August and was recently shown off at...
News SEGA 3D Classics Collection Arrives in Australia on 4th November
Relive the glory days
Following last week's European announcement, distributor Five Star Games has confirmed the SEGA 3D Classics Collection will also be released in Australia on 4th November. This is a chance for SEGA fans and 3DS owners down under to finally get their hands on the entire collection of remastered classics in a single transaction...
News SEGA 3D Classics Collection is Heading to Europe on 4th November
Physical and digital releases
Earlier in the week SEGA Europe teased the announcement of the region's release date for SEGA 3D Classics Collection, an excellent 3DS title that combines nine (10 with a fun bonus) games from the series. Four of those titles are new to the West, while the remainder have previously had eShop releases. To start with the...
Random SEGA Announces the Announcement of the SEGA 3D Classics Collection EU Release Date
Sure, why not
Being a SEGA fan is a strange experience, as it encompasses undying love and commitment to the company along with angst, suffering and fear. The at-times-disastrous Sonic the Hedgehog anniversary party was almost glorious in its shoddiness (with a couple of tasty game reveals to make us feel better), and the company continues to poke...
News M2 Thinks Sega's Alien Syndrome Would Make A Great 3D Classic
"We did a little test on it to see how it would turn out and it was great"
The amazing Sega 3D Classics Collection is available now in North American and Japan, with a European release coming later this year. Sega has posted an interview with Yosuke Okunari, Kagasei Shimomura and Naoki Horii regarding the compendium, and it has been revealed
News SEGA 3D Classics Collection is Confirmed for Europe
Details should come soon
SEGA 3D Classics Collection on 3DS is, in our view, a bit of a gem. It has 9 core games included - and a neat 10th to unlock - and provides a lot of M2-developed retro goodness on the portable. We've always been advocates for the download series, and this retail bundle has done little to reduce our enthusiasm. The catch, of...

They need to give us vol 2 after this (japans vol 1) with even better stuff like space harrier and outrun. Also think when vol 2 comes out here it will have Sonic 2 tacked on. Vol 1 sonic 1, vol 2 sonic 2, vol 3? .....with sonic 3! But yeah can't see why anyone would be hating on classic games, no reason for that unless they are spoiled ones born AFTER the greatest era of arcade games.
@DaleHeuer The only reason people were upset about this was because SEGA said they were going to announce a new game, but instead we ended up with a compilation of retro games, which is in no way bad, yet upsetting for people who wanted a new game.
Hey, that art's by Sugimori! He's so talented.
Unlike me. ;-;
Hope this will soon get released in Eurupe. I know it is anounced, but no date yet.
At first i thought that was Zangief driving the car.. lol
For those looking for the physical release in the UK, the game is exclusive to Argos. Don't know if this is permanent or a timed exclusive, but it's what Sega Europe have said on their Twitter account for now.
