As Tim Goodman, you'll partner with a self-proclaimed "great detective" Pikachu to solve strange occurrences all over Ryme City. Together you must investigate, take notes, and meet up with other Pokémon to unravel the city's greatest mysteries!
Tim is searching for his missing father in Ryme City, but instead encounters a witty, tough-talking Pikachu! Along the way, experience over 150 fun-filled animated cutscenes starring this unique Pikachu, providing helpful hints or talking up a storm. You can also tap the extra-large Detective Pikachu amiibo figure to access all cutscenes up until the current chapter played. As you investigate crime scenes, gather testimonies, uncover information, and interact with Pokémon to solve cases. I've been playing pretty slowly, but should finish the game this week. Looking forward to a localisation of some sort too.
I just beat the game on 2/16/2019! My favorite parts are solving the mysteries with Detective Pikachu! I am going to watch the movie soon! The movies comes out on 5/10/2019!
I can't wait to get this games. And when i do im gonna get the special edition ambiio to go with it.
I liked it, but I couldn't continue playing after some days, I feel it is too slow to complete (not hard, just slow timed). Anyway I can suggest it to kids who like to stay a lot on a game they enjoy (I love all pokemon games even spin-offs like mystery dungeon, but this felt way too slow for me).
