The hardcore fanbase go's crazy

Nintendo are happy, the fans are happy and they all live happily ever after

ok then.... here we go with pics

Nintendo release a console that looks very innocent on first inspection

however it is missing a few key pieces of tech that everyone considered to be standard

its later realised that it contains a tech that was ENTIRELY unexpected but opinions on it are mixed

but at the end of the day and even with the world being turned upside down... we still get Mario

and so the core Nintendo fanbase is satisfied... for about a week

that nintendo hardcore fanbase thing and them only being happy for a week is what the other gamers think. As a person who loves Nintendo, i'm still satisfied with twilight princess and galaxy

I love Nintendo also, but I have beaten both those games, and I am ready for new ones. I don't have a current gen console other than the Wii, so your statement is false.

@Machu: In case your wondering, that date represent Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 64 release date. I am old enough to be on forums, so I'm a teen. So that means unless I have broken so many rules, I wouldn't expect myself to be banned anytime soon.k

the genesis was moar powerful than the SNES and had blood and guts nintendo wore diapers.

the N64 had no cd player and little cg in movies, erm, I mean games, it took a while but nintendo was so screwed..

especially in the GC era, nintendo going 3rd party cause they made moar money off of the GC/GBA junk than sony did on their junk - but sony is cooler and ms is inevitable, its all over finally, if SEGA cant make it how can nintendo?

now the wii is the biggest diaster ever, gamers hate it and it sells more software than 360 and ps3 and DS is a world beater but man when that tidal wave of hardcore backash comes back - man nintendo is screwed.

cause the hardcore alway used to have nintendos back, they will not buy nintendo games much longer.

pretty soon game sites will just ignore nintendo games - how can they afford not to?

I stopped about here... since when was the SNES less powerful than the Genesis?
and I don't know about elsewhere but growing up in Australia the SNES was the coolest thing since MC-Hammer

and I don't know about you but... I can't wait for the optical disk to die so consoles can go back to cartridges

People will always complain regardless of the quality of a console or a game. If you remember that then you can scoff at people who take it too seriously and go play some fun relaxing games made by your preferred company.

Ouch...that kinda hurts (main comment). I agree that SOME people will complain about anything, but the thing with the Wii is that there are almost NO decent amount of third party titles compared to 360 and PS3.
