Topic: Splatoon 3

Flow Aura seems to be pretty generous with time. I got my 3rd splat like 15-20 seconds later from my 2nd splat and got splatted myself in between, and still got Flow Aura.
Am I missing something?

Anyone worried tryhards and sweats will abuse Flow Aura and use it to make it harder for others to even win?

@MrCarlos46 nah, if it's too OP Nintendo will balance it. Otherwise, it'll be fine

@MrCarlos46 I played a few rounds of turf war, and haven't seen a noticeable difference yet. Somehow I got splatted easy, but when I watched the replay from the other player's point of view, they were not good players. So, I'll assume my skills & awareness need brushing up.

One player that splatted me was using Tetra duallies though, and their shot speed was increased 19% with the update, that may have been a factor compared to my splatershot pro. (anyone correct me if I've misunderstood tetra duallie buff)

Still haven't gotten aura myself or seen anyone else get it yet in turf war.

I still haven't tried out the new update. Been too busy playing Yooka-Re-Playee..LOL.

I'm pretty bummed that there seemingly is no longer gonna be any updates to Salmon Run what-so-ever, but also grateful they are still supporting the game. IIRC updates for 2 had completely dried up this far into its life.

I haven’t tried it either, but isn’t there going to be an Eggstra Work on the weekend of Valentine’s Day?

I've had Aura Flow a couple of times. From what little I played, it didn't seem to break Turf War. I'm OK with the health bars. They're just there, but they might encourage some more cooperation.

@MrCarlos46 Yeah, it's the only event confirmed for February right now.

@Dev-N I doubt a Splatfest will even happen in March considering a Big Run will happen then.

Pretty sure the only reason it happened in 2024 was because they wanted to have Off the Hook in a regular fest as fast as possible before SpringFest came around.

@MrCarlos46 A Big Run at Eeltail Alley in March is definitely happening again. This major update should also guarantee more Splatfest, even if it's just Spring Fest and Summer Nights repeats.

@Dev-N I would say a Mario fest, but Big Run is already happening, so that’s already thrown out the window, and chances of an Animal Crossing fest have already been killed, so yeah, we’re just getting repeats of the first SpringFest and Summer Nights themes.

Then again this round of seasonal fest reruns might actually be the last one for the game, and considering they’re not bringing back Grand Festival (and by extent, Grand Run), we might see Summer Nights be the last Splatfest for Splatoon 3.

Actually I wonder how they’ll handle the catalog items as well because once they stop doing catalogs in the game?

@MrCarlos46 Catalogs are just auto repeating. There hasn't been anything new in catalogs since Grand Fest.
