WICKED movie was based on the Broadway musical version since year 2003 and had performed annually by different artists.
WICKED story was focus on back story about Wicked Witch from West, Elphaba which didn't explained that much in Wizard of Oz.
The storyline of WICKED was before Dorothy Gale from Kansas landed on Oz Land, the things that happened before and during the Wizard of Oz events happened.
WICKED movie was divided into two part, part one on this year and part two (which got retitled officially as WICKED: For Good in next year 21 November 2025).
Part One was focusing on Elphaba Throbb childhood and her university life, meet with Glinda (Galinda) which become Good Witch from the North.
The part two based on Broadway version I watched from YouTube was focusing on the things happened several years later which there were some wickedness happened and the melted scene of Wicked Witch from West by water bucket from young girl Dorothy.
The movie is musical style like Broadway version with some differences and improvements to deliver the storyline and character development.
I like the majority of the songs and they are really easy to memorize and easy to hum than the Moana 2 & MUFASA (I didn't remember their songs at all unless I watched again from YouTube)
I can assure you that WICKED is really enjoyable to watch, the 160 minutes of the movie was really worthy to watch.

Speaking about who was actually wicked from WICKED, you will be surprised as you watch the movie by yourself.
Same experience when I watched TRANSFORMERS ONE movie.
