There's a brief message at the bottom of every game page on the Switch eShop. In short, it's a disclaimer that is designed to protect Nintendo and other developers from liability in the event that players suffer from a seizure caused by gameplay. You've probably seen the message, and you've probably ignored it. You probably also haven't played the stuttering Mr. Shifty on Nintendo Switch.
This is something that we need to get out in front of right away. Mr. Shifty might not cause seizures, but its framerate and skipping issues at launch are problematic and gave this reviewer a headache. We're not Digital Foundry, but at a glance it's pretty obvious that this game is consistently running under 30fps, though the issue of stuttering goes further than raw numbers.
During later stages that are filled with enemies and hazards the framerate has a tendency to come to a screeching halt, skipping chunks of the action and often resulting in player deaths. It might be unrelated, but the game also managed to crash twice in our review period. We tested the game both docked and in handheld mode and found similar results. There's no two ways about it – Mr. Shifty does not perform well on Nintendo Switch in its original form, with the developer promising an update that, at the time of publication a week+ after release, is yet to roll out.
Technical problems - and their notable impact on gameplay - aside, Mr. Shifty has the framework of a very interesting and enjoyable game. The premise revolves around a heist as you attempt to break into a high security skyscraper and steal something called Mega Plutonium to stop an evil plan. The plot doesn't get much deeper than that, but the character dialogue is funny enough to keep it entertaining, and it sets the gameplay in motion.
It's difficult to talk about Mr. Shifty without making direct comparisons to Hotline Miami. What we have here is a top down action title that allows you to pick up weapons and use environmental hazards to take down your foes. So, it's Hotline Miami. The major difference is your titular character's ability to "shift," causing him to disappear and reappear about five feet away. It's a powerful ability that dynamically changes how you explore stages and really opens the game up. Being able to disappear and reappear on the other side of a wall directly behind an enemy before taking them down is a deeply satisfying, and it works well with the game's simple control scheme.
One of the true joys of Mr. Shifty is how well the game plays when it successfully reaches full flow. Movement is tied to the left stick or D-Pad and the right stick is used to pan the camera and explore your environment. You can pick up weapons by pressing A, while punches and projectiles are thrown with Y. There is a small dot that works as a reticle constantly floating in front of Mr. Shifty; this dot can be teleported to by tapping B. This is all covered in the first stage that acts as an extended tutorial, but mastering the controls is exceedingly easy and the combat flows well once you've got the hang of it. For how well it controls, it's a real shame that this game performs poorly on the hardware.
One of our bigger gripes with this game – outside of its performance – is the lack of variety throughout its 18 stages. While there are some missions that require you to find an item or survive an onslaught of enemies and environmental traps, the primary goal is almost always to kill all of the baddies to unlock the door to the next area. This is all well and good, but the core mechanic of shifting is almost completely wasted on this basic objective. Being able to move throughout stages undetected should be implemented as an interesting stealth mechanic, a la the Dishonored franchise for example, but is instead used as a combat gimmick.
Shifting works well to avoid enemy attacks and get the jump on a group of thugs, but when the goal is to take everyone out without the option to subdue, the whole concept feels like a missed opportunity. Fighting your way through each stage without taking a single hit should be rewarding, but without a combo meter or high score system the experience falls flat. It took us just over 4 hours to button mash our way through the 18 stages, with no real incentive to return - the game could have certainly done more with its solid core idea and concept.
Conclusion
We want it to be clear that the version we played for this review was the full Switch eShop release. We've been told that the game runs much smoother on PC in the launch period, so you might want to make that your platform of choice if you want to check this one out – and honestly, you should. There's nothing groundbreaking to be found here, but it's a decent game with interesting ideas that unfortunately aren't fully fleshed out. We just can't fully recommend the Switch version in its initial form, and it's disappointing that this one falls under the category of games released in a sub-par state that leave owners hoping that promised updates will save the day.

I always think that name says something else. Mr. Shifty is a bit sounds like shift minus a letter.
Yeah I seen this in action on Switch and it's really bad. This is a reason why frame rate stability matters. I'm not trying to get a headache playing a game that looks like it twitches from beginning to end. This game has a cool concept, but on Switch I'll pass. I have no other option as Switch is my only console, unless they patch it?.
I am hoping for a patch on this one. I think the dev today said there will be a patch to fix this
I'm glad i picked up Wonder Boy and not this.
@Yasume You do know that gcunit will censor that, right?
EDIT: Oh. Not only did they censor the comment, they deleted it too! GG!
Poop
sooooooo... the PC Version then?, got it.
Shame. It feels like the reviewer was desperately looking for something positive to say, to no avail. Something that looks like it was coded in flash in 1998 and which provides players with nothing new, exciting or interesting should be rated as such. And the frame rate issues are lazy.
I'm actually glad I picked up Snake Pass besides this one.
Hello Neighbour should be ported to the Switch instead of this game. It supports Unreal Engine, so why not?
Why even bother releasing it on Switch then?
Some people on other websites are saying this is due to Switch being underpowered.
No. On a system where Breath of the Wild runs at a mostly stable 30fps, there is no excuse for a top-down shooter in little rooms to run below that.
Such a shame. I love games with interesting premises and this one caught my attention as soon as I saw it in the Direct. I don't have a Switch anyways, but I guess I'll get this one on Steam.
I didn't honestly have high hopes for this one in the first place.
Did anyone seriously not see this as anything other than a mobile-esque game from the moment it was shown? There were some gems to look forward to in that indie showcase. This was never one of them.
Sometimes, like Has-Been Heroes a game ends up playing much better than it's browser-game appearances make it look. But usually, they do not.
The lack of a score system or anything similar is baffling. You cannot expect to get by with this sort of game on solely a dash through 15 levels once.
@NEStalgia Uh, in some circles this had more prior hype than just about anything else shown in the nindie showcase. Many Hotline Miami fans were frothing.
You can st- stick [burp] stick to your terrible game for idiots, Morty. I'll be pl-playing Mr Schwifty!
I wanted this game to be good but I've seen enough to know that it's not. Won't be getting it on any platform, unless heavily discounted (on Switch). You can get Graceful Explosion Machine or World of Goo for less money.
Funny how tinybuild goes out of their way to bash G2A for shady business practices, then they release a game called Mr. Shifty, tell people complaining about the framerate problems to "buy it on Steam" and go a week with silence on any patches or fixes. Sounds like they need to quit throwing stones.
@ACK That's surprising though. Hotline Miami had the whole retro-8-bit thing going back when it was new and interesting, and surrounding a generally large game. This always looked like a tablet game with static environments.
I kind of yawned through this part of the presentation thinking "ugh, so the shovelware's starting already?" Even the name felt like I was browsing the AppStore. Miami showed "gamer" character. This always seemed generic.
So sick of this trend where unfinished games get pumped out and are called finished products. When a game that looks like it could run fine on consoles from the PS3/Wii era stutters this badly on modern systems, clearly it's just lazy developers who want to make a quick buck.
If there is an update that fixes the stutters in this game, will there be a seperate review for this game then? Or will this review always be the same for the game? I just wonder what the score would be out of 10 on nintendo life if it didn't drop in framerate at all.
Hope this game tanks so hard. These stupid developers need to learn to test their games before releasing it to consoles. They deserve whatever failures they achieve.
Wow. I've played and beaten the game and found it very enjoyable. The game never crashed and the stutters (which were pretty bad) on the last few levels didn't bother me much.
...
...
It's so fascinating, thinking how different people's views are about what's "unplayable."
I've noticed a little stutter while playing some of the early levels.
Also, guys you need to watch the language. We have rules.
Yeah they lost my support when they made that crack about getting it on Steam. Compared to the love and respect Wonder Boy developers put into their game.... I know who deserves my time and money .
This is exactly why I didn't buy it. I read the reddit Switch group frequently and thank heaven I do cause otherwise I wouldn't have know the game problems and how the developers respond to the issue. Really bad business practice.
@UNSOLUTEDSALT I am right up there with you. I actually did have the game crash and I have seen quite a few glitches but over all I really enjoyed it and thought it was a great game. For the price you pay I really did not think it was a ripoff. Sad to see so much hate for the game.
I totally agree with this review, the game crashed on me lots of times on level 13, it just became a tedious nightmare. It's a shame because the idea is kinda cool but in reality it's just so mediocre at best. I deleted it and treated myself to spectre knight to try and forget it.
lol these new flash in the pan games never prosper.
kids out of college with some graphic classes under their belt want to makes games and this is what happens
Seems like there are a lot better options out there.
@ogo79 Get it together, man. Your post is so unnecessary. .
"Team Shifty
Team Shifty is a new indie games company based in Brisbane, Australia. Composed of ex-Halfbrick developers with experience shipping 20+ games from GameBoy Advance to Xbox 360, the team split off to form a new studio. Mr. Shifty is their action-packed debut!"
@ACK
i hope you have a great friday. from here it looks the opposite.
look on the bright side.
theres always monday.
Downloaded it but havent played it yet. By the time ill play it i think it will be playable. Hotline miami 2 got pretty fast boring. To much repetition. It was still fun and i think this will be fun too. At least for a short while.
@NEStalgia Yeah, I was surprised as well, but Mr. Shifty was the only game I could find a notable buzz pre-dating the nindie reveal. After that I still saw more people claiming it was their standout than the other games like GEM or, even, Runner 3.
I never thought it would stand up to Hotline Miami myself, but it still is a pretty fun game with potential, both wasted and untapped. Beyond performance, the mechanics/depth could use some expansion and improvement, and the lack of replay-ability is a dire fact... However, I don't want to jump all over the developers nor tinybuild for attempting to launch Mr. Shifty simultaneously on Switch/PC. Obviously the market will bare that out.
When you're an indie, eventually the time comes when you have to ship a game, no matter what. Let's see if they can turn this one around and maybe support them if they do... Before the backlash gets out of hand.
What leaves me miffed is that I assume they got some kind of funding (or maybe just the Nindie promo video?) For being "Switch exclusive" on consoles for the time being.... While it's not properly optimized. Nice use of that exclusivity window, guys!
& they want £13.50 for this
Not buying any version because the devs proved to be unprofessional muffins ^^
More money for products that are worth it
Just sad...
@ogo79 Sure, whatever.
Talk nonsense all you want... I don't think it is appropriate to ignorantly diminish the pedigree of developers because some review scored their game low. Think about it.
@ACK
ok were done here buddy. have a good weekend
I'm just going to throw in a slightly contrary perspective here. I bought the game on day one and thoroughly enjoyed it. Its unique gameplay hook gripped me in a way that, say, Hotline Miami never did. There was some stuttering toward the end when things got hectic, but nothing to ruin the experience.
Then I found out about the comments the developer made. The individual was a douche in that instance, for sure. But to be fair, the team followed it up with a swift apology and got a patch together fast. And it's the effort they make to atone for the comments that really matters in the long run, not the stupid comments themselves.
Honestly, this review is going to look pretty one-sided in a few weeks. The patch will drop and then system differences will go away. I don't think the controversy surrounding the game needs to be included.
Too bad, I was looking forward to this one. Maybe another review if the patch does fix the issues?
Wow that tagline is brutal.
Excellent work.
@RedMageLanakyn Hey, buddy. For the sake of asserting blame in right direction, tinyBuild is the publisher. The devs are Team Shifty (an Aussie outfit made up of former Halfbrick staffers – the people behind mobile hits, Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride). They made the sequence of, erm.. 'unfortunate' comments to a fan on Twitter.
In an effort to salvage the situation, tinyBuild later stepped in, confirming that a patch will indeed be incoming after all. As to when that will be, who knows?
@xxAcesHighxx Fair enough. In that case if I were tinybuild I'd be on the phone with the devs telling them to mind their manners!
@RedMageLanakyn On that point, you couldn't be more right, man. I completely agree! The comments made were entirely inappropriate and the individual concerned should be kept well away from the company Twitter account in future!
I haven't bought or played this game, but my guy Logan says it's great.
It still looks fun. I'll wait for confirmation that the performance issues are ironed out before spending any money on it, though.
@8itmap_k1d @KIRO you make a good point here. Business and people can screw up, if they make amends then they deserve forgiveness. Still going to spend my money elsewhere but you're bang on.
It does look fun in small dosages, think this is a wait-for-a-sale-ignore-review-scores jobbie for me.
Bought it day one: it's fun in very small bursts, but it's extremely shallow and feels like a throwaway mobile game after the first few levels (never mind the utterly absurd technical issues for a game that should be capable of running at 60fps on a bloody PS2, albeit at a lower res).
Basically, they took Hotline Miami, stripped out all of the variety and clever level design of that game, inserted a half-assed teleportation mechanic (which is criminally half-baked) and called it a day.
Performance aside, kinda wondering why there wasn't a scoring system or combo multiplier...just odd.
@ECMIM I think like the reviewer has said that this game has missed a trick.. they should also look to patch in some sort of combo meter.. high score.. leader boards etc this would in my opinion give me more of a reason to go back and play it. For now though the game is ok but could be so much better
What FPS is this supposed to run at then? It almost implies 30fps which is no good for this title.
I loved Hotline miami. Hoped this got a better score.
The fact that such a simplistic-looking game has such appalling frame rate issues is completely unacceptable. =/ And they're demanding AU$20 for it too! Hah!
@8itmap_k1d @KIRO You say they got a patch together fast? The review here mentions that it is not yet patched and other places say they have been silent for a week... Has a patch actually fixed it yet? (serious question btw, just haven't heard they released one).
On a side note, even though they apologised for the comments (kinda), they still released a game that many people feel is unfinished, relying on patches to improve it... This matters more when the game had a physical release, but it's still a practice that I'm very against and something that the internet/DLC world has made easy for developers to do. (That is, rely on patches instead of testing and fixing thoroughly before release).
As a developer I would be ashamed of something I released that wasn't exactly as I wanted it, especially if it's clearly related to what seems to be lazy coding.
The comments they made, just made it way worse.
Played this game from start to finish with minimal performance problems.
Definitely not as bad as some are saying.
I would give it 7 out of 10
Shouldn't a "buy it on steam" from the developer earn an instant ban from Nintendo? Surely, Nintendo's lawyers have included an anti-defamation clause in their developer's contract.
As to the Switch being underpowered, graphics like that should have run on even a PS2. It's a matter of optimization.
Funny most negative comments are from people who never played it. Over the last year or two I went from the guy who would check all reviews before a purchase to the guy who will purchase something day one if it looked fun or interesting to 'me', the person spending my money. I knew I'd have fun with this game and bought it day one. I was right. Same with Batman v Superman, Warcraft movie, Overwatch, Doom, and now I have pre orders for Prey and Little Nightmares. I don't care if others like these things, if it looks like I will find it entertaining, then I'm going to roll the dice. Its way more gratifying to live this way. I beat Mr Shifty and am almost done with Wonder Boy, which game did I have more pure fun with? Easily the former, even with its rough edges, it has gameplay that I want to see expanded on and enhanced. While the latter is super frustrating, nice to look at but with clunky gameplay and mechanics. The core gameplay is really outdated and boring. I know it's supposed to be a remaster but then remaster the gameplay at least a little. Still having weird hit boxes and having to start back in the village if you have no continues left is really frustrating especially since its not easy to get continue elixirs. Its more punishment than fun. You can get better at the game but there will still be instances where you are randomly attacked by 3-4 enemies out of nowhere and have to be damaged first before knowing how to take them on. It still has a higher rating from most people though, but I wonder how many of them are finding it truly fun and exciting throughout majority of their play through and how many are not having to look at a guide to know where to go next.
@brutalpanda but batman v superman seriously? even when they save the world by saying 'martha'?
A five? I watched two peaple playing Mr. Shifty, they say it's their favourite Switch eShop game or in their Top 3. And I can see its appeal. If you're into fast-paced arcadey top-down action this is probably worth a try, but price and technical issues hold me back.
Please stop with the blatant Digital Foundry plugs. It lacks tact and is cringeworthy.
@feelinsupersonic ridiculous things are not bad, sometimes they can make me laugh which is better than needing to be serious. All super hero films are pretty corny including the dark knight trilogy imo, so why can't a movie be corny on purpose without having to be funny? it was a fun and ridiculous movie for me and I don't regret seeing it day one but if I had still only went by reviews I probably would've never watched it. Same with Mr. Shifty's plotline, made me laugh throughout although that one was definitely on purpose.
I was looking forward to this game. Not enough to buy it day one but I was intrigued. Then the devs opened their mouths and barfed garbage all over the internet and basically told me they are not a company worth supporting. If they don't think just as highly of every iteration of their game as the PC version they are not worth my time and their game is not worth my money. Yes, PC is easiest to develop for and it is the "best" platform and games run most smoothly on it, but spare a thought to those of us who prefer consoles. Throwing my Switch into my purse is certainly a hell of a lot more convenient than throwing a gaming laptop into it and guess what? Mr. Shifty runs on both. Only I won't be playing it on either.
I was considering getting this and I'm glad I didn't pick it up, I'll probably pick up Shovel Knight (yet to pick up any version of the game and I'm really late to the bandwagon lol) or WonderBoy instead eventually
@FTL It's been out like a week and there is already footage of the patch working. I'm not excusing the comments, I'm just saying they're the idiotic words of one person, for which the team has apologised and made amends, and all the talk of boycotting the devs is disproportionate.
I also dislike the modern trend of 'fixing in post' but it's no different to any number of developers, even Nintendo with BotW.
I've heard that the PC version is equally I optimized with issues throughout. This is not a Switch exclusive issue.
Hardware in 2017 is too powerful to have these performance issues. Think about it, MK8 Deluxe runs at 60 fps. So this is just evidence of lazy programming/a cash grab port.
Really dissapointing to see it plagued by such framerate issues, and on top of the comments made by the dev, I'm gonna hold off until an update/sale. A shame because the whole 'Amazing Nightcrawler' mechanic it has going on seemed like a solid basis for a good game.
I'm sure they will resolve the issues. In hindsight, those remarks from the dev were rather throw away and blown up out of proportion. Bruisebear76 was being rather dogged.
(JUST HIT A BUTTON, MORTY! GIMME A BEAT!)
Oh yeah! Ya gotta get Shifty!
Ya gotta get Shifty in here!
It's time to get Shifty! Oh oh!
Ya gotta get Shifty! Oh yeah!
Take out your screen and your Joycons!
Shift on the floor! Time to get Shifty in here!
Gotta shift on the floor! I'm Mr. Bulldops!
Hey @ogo79! This is the same game you predicted everyone would still be talking about weeks later! Haha!
@brutalpanda not everyone has endless cash to buy every game that releases. I want quality over quantity. Which is why my Wii U library is over 300 and my ps3/4 isn't even at 50.
A game that has technical issues that effects the gameplay is not a game I will purchase until it's in the bargain bin. Heck, duke nuke forever was worth the $5 I spent on it.
As for wonder boy and similar games...well people enjoy dark souls. And it's tons of fun despite punishing gameplay. And the technical issues never, not 1 time made me die.
a patch is incoming, the developer posted a video on reddit, which shows huge improvement to the game. I hope this review is updated once the patch is released
Will you revisit the review once the game has been patched?
I've played through three levels now- now issues at all 🤔
I'm really enjoying the game
This sounds like a fun game.
If the technical issues are resolved, I'll buy it.
Wow, this was unexpected. Been hearing a lot of good things about it. Didn't seem like the technical issues were that bad. I heard they are working on an update to address those problems. Will the review be updated aswell if that happen?
"It's like a popular game but with one slight difference. And not as good. And broken as hell."
Okay, avoid.
Reggie clearly orchestrated a campaign to trick everyone into buying this piece of crap, knowing full well that it was broken. Thanks to NintendoLife, however, his slimy evil plan was thwarted.
@brutalpanda Well if you enjoyed Batman v Superman then you'll enjoy Halo 4 & 5 and WWE and everything else that has big action and big emotions at the expense of strong plot and strong character writing.
If you know what you like, you can then work out what products hit your taste buds the best.
Personally I need strong character and plots and world building to be the focus, with action and emotion to match the way each character would react to things in the plot.
@Forill @Unsolutedsalt I'm almost done with the game myself and think it's great. There was only one real instance of stuttering and that was coming up from sleep mode and a restart fixed that.
I've had basically no issues and a lot of fun. I'm sad to see Mr. Shifty get this low of a score. I think it's well worth the money.
@MadAdam81 Yeh, in the plot sense, Mr. Shifty is more of an 80's action flick where the bad guy just needs to be defeated by the good guy... kind of like BotW's plot really...
if they figure out the framerate issues ill buy i was looking forward as this looked fun to play but the horrible stutter i have seen in youtube videos i ended up picking up i am setsuna(fun game)
Thanks and apologies to those that reported the earlier profanity. I had that user in my 'Ignore' list but it's sorted now.
@EternalDragonX totally unrelated to the article, but do you use IGN and have the same user name over there?
@MadAdam81 that's my point, just because I said I enjoyed batman v Superman you immediately assumed my taste and you immediately think I will enjoy work that is somehow inferior to what you enjoy. Also you assume that I somehow got swept off my feet by the 'big action and big emotions' of the movie but in reality I was smiling and laughing at most of it because of its silliness and I like the style of it, it takes risks and tries something new even if most things didn't work how you would "expect". You already pigeonholed me and believe that you and I have to only enjoy one spectrum of entertainment and can't go outside of that. Its not like I don't enjoy a building-of-character driven plot structure. I studied filmmaking and storytelling and am not oblivious to it at all and really enjoy history and entertainment with strong plot as well. With that said, I believe it can also get really boring and and predictable and sometimes its fun to watch or play something that doesn't take itself so seriously. You're right about one thing, I did go to a WWE match once with my wife and we enjoyed it because of its silliness, these people pretending to be so serious in tights jumping around and yelling at each other with drama like in high school - purposefully ridiculous and silly and fun. It doesn't mean my tastes are inferior to yours and I think scaling taste is a silly concept to begin with.
@gcunit - Ignore list? Oh... you mean you clicked the Yasume button. Don't worry, I'm sure very few actually saw it.
@Indielink yessir, its my Gamertag for psn xbox as well
ITT people judging an action game without playing it. The frame rate issues are manageable if you just — I don't know — play the game. I think it was an immensely satisfying, 4-5 hour $15 experience. The game felt like it always had something new to add until the last few levels, which increase in scale and do more difficult set ups. This game just feels good to play — reacting to developer tweets that have already been taken back by a release by the company seems irrational. Even if the initial comments were moronic they don't reflect upon the quality of the game. Death of the author and all.
@Snakesglowcaps
That's surprising to hear given the high marks it's currently getting on Steam. I would be much more likely to see this as a porting issue. Team Shifty may be experienced former Halfbrick staffers, but the four people credited with Console Porting don't have a whole lot of experience (zero in one case) under their belt.
@brutalpanda I'll clarify, my Wii U has over 300 games including Wii discs, VC, wiiware, eshop, and Wii U games. Lots of free vc games over the years. I buy and sell most ps games since they cost so much and aren't worth keeping and replaying most of the time.
I do not care what a review says unless it's about technical issues affecting gameplay. I bought a switch and sold my 3ds and games to do so. I'm not rich and have been burned buying digital games too many times that no matter how many times I've almost bought this, gameplay matters and until I hear it's patched and runs much better, I'll wait for a sale.
Of the 10 Switch games I've played this is the worst. Not even because of the frame rate, I just found it dull. I'd rather play Lego City and it's Sickness-inducing portable frame rate.
I actually thought this game was pretty good. The drops in FPS weren't too bad in handheld mode for most of the game. But I switched to dock mode for the final level and wow! It wasn't even playable, then the game crashed on me. This definitely doesn't seem like it was ready to release on the Switch, but actually had a decent enough time playing it. The combat was fun. If the game ran smooth I'd give it a 7-8.
but hey, remember, "Zelda has framerate issues too"
Doesn't Nintendo test for quality control? How did this get through?
I guess my 7.6/10 was a tad generous
Huh. I had no idea there was such a controversy going on around this game. I got it and enjoyed it well enough. Granted I'm probably still less than halfway through it, but it seemed to perform fine to me. I'd give it a 7/10.
@EternalDragonX I ask because IGN had a video with Jeff Caplan, the director of Overwatch. He was reading comments about the game made on boards by IGN users. One of yours was featured.
Oh dang no kidding any chance you remever which one? I'd love to watch it. Thanks for the headsup and great memory too 😃
I'm still curious about this game, but not necessarily on the Switch. Hm. We'll see.
@Almighty-Koz I definitely need to finish Setsuna!
Im going to skip this one for now..
Mr Shifty is not so spiffy, sadly.
@bezerker99
oh you know it.
WOOOOOO
Honestly, this game didn't look appealing to me. Shakedown Hawaii, however, will disappoint me if it's not good.
@EternalDragonX
You should tag if you want a reply
I've actually enjoyed playing it and the HD Rumble feels great with this game. Yeah the frame rate acts up once in a while but it's not unplayable in my opinion. They already said there's a patch coming to fix that(I agree, not in the best way) so I'm totally happy with my purchase. Definitely doesn't deserve a 5.5
@MagicEmperor im at the end and i found a secret place i think where the scenery changes to a retro style like 16 bit era and the developers all have characters that thank you and tell you wierd tidbits about the game and how it was made.
@EternalDragonX
@OptometristLime BAHAHAHAHAH!! Thanks bud, nice to see he got a laugh at it. My job here is done.
I'm surprised this game only has a 6.7 😕
My expectations were literally blown out of a skyscraper (lol)😅 after I started the game I literally played it 2 hours straight and it felt like the time just flew by (and that's really unusual for me) I love the pacing and variety to the levels and the implementation of the gameplay,
For people that love challenge the one hit your dead rule is Great😅
Had so much fun with it
