Look, we know that time travelling is a controversial act in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but someone on the Nintendo Life team (we'll avoid shaming them this time) has found an interesting discovery by doing exactly that. If the tagline above didn't grab your attention, please consider this a final warning before spoilers are revealed.

It would appear that starting on 26th November, Nook's Cranny will be hosting a brand new 'Nook Friday' event. Clearly parodying the real world's Black Friday shopping event, Nook Friday will also run from the 26th to the 30th, and players can grab items at reduced prices during its run.
As you can see in our screenshots below, every item in the shop will be sold at 30% off:
Of course, you'll still want to pick up any items that take your fancy leading up to the event as it's impossible to know which goodies will be on sale that particular weekend, but you could be in for some big savings should everything fall into place. Those gold ticket items are going to become extra tempting, aren't they?
If the Nook gods could please get in a Drum Set for their Nook Friday sale, that'd be just grand. Ta.

I'd rather have an upgrade to the store, but sure I'll take a discount on items I already own
what the point of making a Black Friday event on Nook Cranny,when the store need urgently a expansion.
Tell me one thing, is there any time limited content in this game? I mean, if I buy this game now/later, will I be locked out of certain content as those were only available during some event in the past?

At first glance article headline started in my brain as “Time Time Traveling Event Coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizon This Month.”
I really think it would be cool to have a time traveling event. We could all go to a certain time in the past or future and get some collectibles. For example, a shirt that reads. “I traveled to 2028: It gets better.”
@Kimyonaakuma Really? You already own the thousands of new items added in 2.0? That's commitment right there.
A store upgrade would be nicer, with the ability to purchase more furniture items.
Though having said that, I’ve updated my game recently and yet no Roost at my museum so not sure what’s happened there
I have to say, the saddest part of the update is that we won't get another upgrade to the shop.
I miss the emporium from New Leaf, as well as the Gracie merch.
