I'm hoping to play some Super Mario Party and maybe Mario Kart 8 Deluxe! Happy MAR10 Day!

Also, today is the 2 year anniversary for getting my switch. I got it a week after launch and I have been playing it ever since. I thought that I played previous systems a good amount, but this device is crazy good. Happy Mario Day!

It's nice that they acknowledge the day but surely they can do better that offer discounts for games on systems that are virtually dead.

Finishing Skyward Sword and starting Ocarina of Time. Mario will just have to be happy for Link this year. I also played Donkey Kong, Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 1, 2, 3, Super Mario Odyssey, and Punchout!! Recently, so I think Mario has had enough time in the sun for a few more weeks at least 😜

I almost forgot it was Mario Day. I have my Wii U on right now watching a show on streaming, so I guess I could start up Super Mario 3D World and play a few levels for a bit before I turn it off. Really like that one level that does a Super Mario Kart homage.

Because I already own the Mario titles I want, I took advantage of the New Super SMB digital code discount to rebuy what I already purchased 9 years ago. Back in the day it was 60 bucks plus 20 for the DLC... yet here I go again. At 40 it's less of a punch to the gut, but even at 40, man, it needed more newly created content

@Dizzy_Boy @Chunky_Droid I remember James, and Corbie from back when it was VC-reviews.com, at least that's what my bookmark said it was called. I missed James for a long time after he left, he was the happiest person here, always chatting it up in the comments section, but since TW left I've kind of forgotten about James until you mentioned him. James wouldn't have survived 1 day in these comments, he would have been torn to pieces for being a fanboi or SJW or something.

My plan for Mario day is finally getting to River Run in Super Mario Party.

Mario should hire Ace Attorney to sue the US gov't for making his day 1 hour shorter? Everybody else in my house is still sleeping at 10:20. Stupid clocks. Though the dark pouring rain weather isn't helping any either. But after lunch, and a pot of coffee, we should be good to go for some Mar-E-Oh.

I had bought it for Android, but have since switched to iOS.

I started Mario RPG a few months ago. Maybe I should get back to it.

I might try and get another win in Tetris 99.

They way I see it is if all the other wins go to 998 of the other players, I have a chance for the $10 with my one win.

I just got NSMBU Deluxe (that title/acronym is ridiculous) with the discount. I might play MK7 during my last break and I have a ton of Mario games to choose from later.

@Tandy255 I bought an old 2DS the other day so I’m playing that version. I was never a big Zelda fan until playing breath of the wild but that game inspired me to revisit the others. I basically bought the 2DS for Zelda.

It's my son's birthday, so we got him some cake and ice cream. My wife is making Filipino style spaghetti for him and our daughter.

I celebrate this momentous occasion by killing Mario in every game I have that stars him. Mario Odyssey, Mario/Rabbids:KB, Mario Kart, Mario Party and Smash Bros.

@KingdomHeartsFan Thanks for mentioning International Women’s Day. When pretty much every brand uses it to market themselves, some rather tastelessly, it does speak volumes when a company lets it pass without comment. They have people dedicated to PR and social media. No excuse really.

Every single time I hear a date in the US format I think they say something like "March 2010". Nintendo should rename Mario to Iomar everywhere else in the world so we could be part of this USA-only day.
