Cool, it's a decent MOBA. I still prefer Heroes of The Storm by a large margin though. Way more strategy and I enjoy the characters so much more.

Not interested at all with AOV.
But, how do i convince mobile players to try AOV Switch version instead than the mobile version ?

I have never really played a MOBA. I just know I had a roommate in college for a semester who would play League of Legends to terrifying hours. I'd get back from class at 4, he'd be playing it. He'd still be playing it when I went to bed at 10 to take a nap before work, He'd still be playing it when I'd get up at 1 to go work my 3 hour shift. I'd usually see him still playing it when I'd get home around 4:30am. And then when I wake up around 10am again, he'd finally have gone to bed himself. He did this almost every day.

@Agramonte you should look at the mobile version of it then. This version is redone. Looks and plays more like League of Legends now.

I played the beta and really enjoyed it. (Granted I had never played a moba before.)

This is a great game i played the Switch Beta and it fun to play.

I still have the occasional go on AoV with my razer phone and I think it's a great Moba.

And it's free , and those microtransactions don't seem to unbalance the game as far as I can tell. Another game for people to try at no cost.

I don't even know what a MOBA is, no matter how many times I heard the term, plus outside of Zelda games, not a fan of the fantasy genre. But boy is it cool to keep hearing more and more games coming to Switch. Keep em coming!

@xPH03N1Xx86 I've played a lot of mobas but stuck with heroes of the storm for the longest time, stopped playing due to the switch being awesome but I'm gonna go back soon. for people who want HOTS on the switch.... how yall plan on playing it? with gyro?

I had a similar situation in college but it was the whole floor of our dorms was obsessed with Counter Strike. I played the odd time but there was a group of around 8 who used to leave all their doors open and be roaring instructions/expletives at each other down the hall as they were playing. It was pretty funny, but also annoying when I was trying to study.

I enjoyed the beta. I probably played for 3-5 hrs. I don’t like it as much as Paladins or Fortnite, but I still enjoy it a bunch as a f2p game

@Polymorph85 this is not true, I played the beta version and is much better than the mobile.

@Anti-Matter if your not interested in the game. It will be hard to convince others to play the game on the switch

Yes! Finally! I loved the Beta so much! And even though I sucked at it, it was still a total blast to play! I didn't want to stop! And I believe its free to play too! So there's literally no reason for people not to give it a shot if they like the look of it or are interested in MOBA's.

@Heavyarms55 Well matches themselves are incredibly short... Maybe he found time between them to feed and bathe himself, sometimes do some studying? It must have been while you were out and about or busy sleeping. He'd die otherwise lol. I'm sure he was fiiiiiine. x3

@ThatNyteDaez Yeah I mean to be fair he would stop to eat and shower and stuff. He wasn't nasty or anything, but he spent almost every spare minute playing.

Not a fan of Mobas in general, but the genre intrigues me, so I'll give it a try since it's free..

I hear MOBAS are the bees knees, at least that's what the cool kids say

I still prefer HoTS, but after testing this on Switch, I had a lot of fun. It's faster, less complicated, so when I just want to have a little fun the game is perfect

This game looks like such a rip off of league of legends, which is funny since Tencent wanted to make league on mobile, and when riot said no this came out lol.

@Polymorph85 You must not played iOS F2P games in a while if you think a few more blades of grass makes it "different". I guess once they done with the F2P iOS MOBA games they can start with Lineage 2 Revolution and all the F2P iOS RPGs... lovely.

@SonOfVon I'm not sure I'd want HOTS on Switch, I don't know how well it'd work. For example, using AoE moves that you need to place like Li Mings wave of force, or Maievs Fan of Knives. Then there's a lot more regarding controls, like, for example, you have 3 basic abilities, a heroic, some characters with an activatable trait, and then you can have several abilities that are activated using numbers, and I just don't know how they'd map all of that to a controller.

Looks great. Been waiting for this since the beta as I really enjoyed it. F2P games like this, Fortnite and Paladins are genuinely great and their f2p tag shouldn’t diminish them in people’s eyes when most AAA games function as f2p games with an expensive entry fee
