Bandai Namco has revealed during its financial results briefing that it will be announcing three big titles for Switch sometime early next year.
Company president Mitsuaki Taguchi delivered the news, and stated that the names of the three games would be made known by Spring / Summer 2018.
Taguchi also admitted that Bandai Namco had been taken by surprise by the Switch's popularity, and moving forward will be devoting more development resource to the console:
We have put 3 games on the Switch so far and all of them are doing well. It’s a shame, but we didn’t think the Switch [would] be accepted this fast.
What games do you think Bandai Namco will bring to the Switch? Tekken? Dark Souls? Ace Combat? Ridge Racer? The list is almost endless - let us know what you hope to see revealed.
Thanks to SLIGEACH_EIRE for the tip!

Riiiiiidge Racer. It's Ridge Raceeer. Nah, just kidding. I really really do hope it's Dark Souls.
One of them most certainly will be Dragon Ball Z considering the Xenoverse was a success.
Kinda hoping for that Tales of Symphonia HD collection. But we'll see what they have in store for us! Glad to see their support either way!
Hope those are Dark Souls (any of them), Tekken 7 and Dragon Ball FighterZ. Not sure what they'll end up being though.
Come on portable souls...
Wasnt there a new Tales game coming to the switch? I remember seeing it in the lists of confirmed projects.
Aside that FighterZ port seems reasonable considering Xenoverse 2 sold decently.
I hope they're top tier games. I'd love nothing more than an amazing Tales game. We already knew that there is one coming so hopefully it's not included in these 3 exclusives, though if it's exclusive, I'll take it. Tales of Symphonia on Gamecube still remains one of my all-time favourites. Nintendo have given this company so much business over the years, I hope we're rewarded well and that they're not shovelware. I'd also like to see a Dark Souls game, never played one before but I hear it constantly talked about in great terms. I don't want one of the games to be DBZ.
FighterZ port will probably be one, new Tales game probably another. Third one could be a few things. Dark Souls collection, Tekken 7, Ni No Kuni 2, etc. It'll be interesting to see.
They did say they have a Tales of and Taiko game coming, so that just leaves one spot [probably fighterZ]
Edit: Read elsewhere that it's supposed to be three exclusive games! So now, that's anyone's guesses really
Tekken would be amazing for Switch. Instant purchase.
What I'd like to see most is a complete Klonoa collection. But that will never happen of course.
Maybe another Project X Zone?
Perhaps a new entry in the Tales series?
Any Tales game would be welcome. Maybe they could remake some of the older titles in the series.
@tourjeff unfortunately one has little to do with the other. Even when a game is succesful on Switch that does not mean that more recent games will be ported.
Any Tales game would be great
Please be dark souls, with local co op. If they wanna throw in some Nintendo themed armour and weapons too that's fine with me
@mauroh they need to hurry up with a release date for taiko. held back on PS4 version as I know switch version is in the works.
DIGIMON!!! I'd kill for some Digimon. They can spend the rest of Switch's lifespan porting all the Digimon games from PS3/PS4/3DS for all I care.
And I wouldn't mind a Tamagotchi game (I've never tried the ones on DS or Wii).
Oh God, please be Dark Souls!!!
PLEASE GOD GUNDAM VS. sorry I don't normally use caps. It won't happen again.
I can't wait for Dragonball Fighterz
Tekken, Ridge Racer, Soul Calibur, Mr Driller, Museum 2 (Ordyne, Assault, Dragon Spirit etc), Klonoa, Katamari Damacy
@Jimgamer8 Its a sin that we haven't had a Katamari game in so long.
Portable souls would be dope.
I hope Dark Souls, and Tekken come to switch. Dark Souls on the go would be so awesome! 😁
Anything but tekken.
I’d bet one will be the infamous ‘Project Cars’
I love all their games lol.
A new Tekken, soulcallibur o yeah we need strong fighting games.
or a brand new Dragonball, and Naruto those titles have many fans.
Dark souls dark souls dark souls dark souls
I want a new Tales game. It's ages since Berseria came out, and they haven't even shown us the next game yet.
Ridge Racer would be great!
Dark souls. PW localization. Pls.
But probably Tekken since SF 2 did so well. :/
Project X Zone 3?
Dark Souls would be great. An entirely new From Software game even better.
I would love a ridge racer collection with all the games remastered we need some arcade racing on the switch
Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere HD (Japan Edition).
Tales of Innocence R or all new Tales game.
Something extra that I won't be too interested in like Tekken, Pac-Man or Ridge Racer.
Dark Souls and Soulcalibur and I'll be happy.
Dark Souls 1, 2 and 3 please. Eventually throw in Tekken at some point, but it's all about Dark Souls
They were supposed to launch a Tales Of game, hopefully that is one
If Namco do have Ridge Racer in development, I hope it isn't another remake of the first game.
@ktej75 Yes, that is correct but in this case I think someone from Namco not long ago said that they were waiting to see the results of Xenoverse to see if it was worth to port Z to the platform so considering that that Xenoverse sold well I think it's a safe bet to say that Z will be ported.
I'd love a Tales of collection - there's a lot of games stuck in Japan, plus I haven't gotten to zestiria or berseria yet so would prefer a switch version!
I'd also be up for a Digimon game, and I'd Def buy Ni no kuni on switch over ps4 if the performance is good.
However I expect another dbz fighter. Meh. Dbz rpgs I enjoy though!
since they are supposed to be big titles, doubt its gonna be fighterz, might be working on already.
big titles i see tales of, dark souls and probably tekken
DBZ!!!!!!!!
Ridge Racer and Dragon Ball FighterZ please! 😎
Tales Of(Already confirmed?) and Tekken 7 are my top 2 hopefuls. As for number three, I'd take a new Soul Caliber, Ace Combat or Project X Zone.
But I read in the comments yesterday that 2018 was barren?
I wanna play Souls on the crapper, c'mon Namco!
I'd most want a one on one Soul Calibur game. I worry they're done with the franchise but it's my favorite fighting game series so I will hope. Love most of the characters, but when I want to win for sure: Cassandra or Pyrra is where it's at!
I wish for :
1. Games somewhat like Go Vacation Wii in HD.
2. Taiko no Tatsujin Switch
3. Cute Games like Animal Crossing or Cute Survival RPG like Portal Knights.
An arcade perfect version of the first Ridge Racer on the eShop'll do me fine. Will gladly pay up to fifteen pounds Sterling for it.
They should make a new exclusive "souls" game for the Switch, like how PS had Demon Souls and Bloodborne. Which are still my favorite 2 games outta the "souls" series.
Dark Souls trilogy and Switch is complete. Skyrim, Dark Souls, DOOM, Mario, Mario Kart, Xenoblade, Pokemon, Fire Emblem and Metroid all on a portable machine.
But while they're at it, throw in Ni No Kuni and DB Fighter Z
Anything would be good...part of me wishes Namco and Nintendo would get together and remaster the Baten Kaitos games for Switch.
I want to know about that unannounced Tales of game we heard about back in January.
A Tales game would be great, not sure if the Switch can handle Tekken 7...
Klonoa please!
Japanese companies have no excuse to ignore the Switch. Dang platform is handedly beating both the 3DS and PS4 every week in Japan.
You take your games where the people are going. And dat ppl be Switchin'
I want a Gundam game. I want a Gundam game that actually feels like a Gundam game - not a reskined fighting game with no actual relation to Gundam beyond fighter appearance and character names.
But I am realistic enough to know that wouldn't happen.
Part of me also wants a Gundam strategy game. Based around the One Year War.
But I also know that is extremely unlikely as well. Even more unlikely to get localized even if we did get it.
So that report that is around about Japanese third parties not announcing games for Switch, like obvious choices like Okami HD or Secret of Mana HD; is because they thought the Switch wasn't going to be a success are true.
WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY THINKING?
BTW Namco obvious choices are: Dark Souls, God Eater 3, Code Vein, New Tales of, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Ni No Kuni 2.
I'll give them that statement. I'm sure 90% of the gaming world thinks the same.
Wait, would Smash Bros count? Sort of? Maybe?
Dark Souls, Soul Calibour, Tekken, .hack//
We need a Soul Calibur VI! Or just port Soul Calibur II HD to the Switch so I can use Link and my GameCube Arcade stick!
Something new and exclusive?... I want more racers!
Tale of... please.
I'm hearing so many excellent suggestions in this comment section But Tales or Soul Calibur would be my picks. Soul Calibur II was one of my favourite games on the Gamecube, and more recently I picked up Tales of Symphonia for the PS3 as I remembered playing it as a kid on the Gamecube. What a fantastic game that was.
Dark Souls in handheld mode would be too dangerous for me. It would be thrown at the wall within about fifteen minutes.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Assuming we got the games you wanted on Switch, would you consider buying one?
Lord please let it be Dragonball Fighter Z and/or at the very least Tekken 7. Dreams come true.
Of course it's Ridge Racer, there's one in every console... except PS4, why is that?
A worthwhile RPG...
A decent Katamari and Taiko please
Pac Man!
@JJ286 If Okami HD never shows up on Switch... I mean there are real tragedies in the world, no doubt... but that would certainly be a travesty of monumental proportions
Beaten Kaitos, Splatterhouse and Soul Calibur please
Dark Souls Trilogy Collection and a remastered Demon Souls would be unrealistic but incredible
Klonoa! Wa-hoo!
A new Tales. Perfect for the Switch and not something that has ever been graphic intensive.
@WiltonRoots they're probably the same ppl that said 2017 would be a barren year for switch software.
Please god let one of those games be Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker! Its perfect for the Switch no matter how you look at it (8 player matches locally, graphics aren't too intense and online gameplay as well). I love how no one's mentioned Bandai Namco and their slew of amazing games but everyones all worried about EA and their microtransactions and other questionable business practices. THIS is the third Party company I want to see on board with the Switch for many months to come. EA and their trashy games can suck it.
Tales game or gtfo Namco. Stop trolling Nintendo players with a few good releases and then sending everything else over to Playstation (and not sending over seas to boot)!
Tales titles are perfect for Switch.
Tekken, SoulCalibur and Dark Souls sounds like a good trio.
All three could be HD remakes for all I care! Soul Caliber II HD, Tales of Symphonia HD, Star Fox Assault HD (Anyone...No?...OK...)
As for actual hopes I want to see a Tales game, Digimon (preferably in the vain of story) and sigh I told my brother that I'd finally play a Souls game if it game to the Switch, so bring it on!
And you know...Bamco did work on Smash 4
Super Robot Taisen plz!
I'm expecting a Tales of game included in there. If its a Symphonia remake/remaster, that would be a DAY 1 buy. No question.
Dark Souls was heavily rumoured before launch. The first two were on PS3 so no problem running them.
Tekken 7 runs on unreal engine 4. Perfect fit.
After that don't know, an RPG would seem pretty likely. Personally I'd love some sort of Ridge Racer collection.
As many Tales titles as possible, please, including mainline game ports (especially since a bunch of them got locked out on past gen hardware, not to mention still unlocalised titles like Destiny 2 and Rebirth) and companion games (a souped-up version or sequel of Tales of VS would be right at home on Switch). But then again, Bamco announced an unspecified Tales title right away, so it's probably not the franchise they're allocating extra resources to. God Eater 3? Likely to be in the works as it is because the earlier announced "on home consoles" excludes Vita and a monster hunting game in Japan is quite fair to expect on something portable nonetheless (no, MHW, an explicit shot at the complacently TV-bound audience in the west, doesn't count). Dark Souls? The third game has been successfully run on Switch, so it seems there's already some activity in that regard, too.
So what hasn't been discussed yet? Well, I'll always wish for ports among other things, count on it. Two words: ETERNAL SONATA. Also Ni no Kuni dilogy, Little Nightmares, something Ace Combat (a common guest in Nintendoland, so a safe bet), something Idolmaster (I hear they're even localised lately?), whatever in Sword Art Online lineup hasn't been portable yet. Notas interested personally (I'm keener on 2D fighters unless a CGI one has "Dissidia" or "Smash Bros" in the title), but it won't hurt to give an honorable mention to Soul Calibur and Tekken, too. Maybe even Project X Zone 3? Although I wouldn't mind it on the series' native 3DS turf either.
Nerd appetites are big, but hey, you asked. XD
I wouldn't expect anything "new" however it's so nice to see that everyone is warming up to the console, and it hasn't been out a year yet. Things are looking positive for sure. Come on Capcom, you can jump on anytime now...
On one hand, I would freak if they somehow were to announce Dark Souls Trilogy for Switch!
....Then again, I don't see how they could do Dark Souls III. It's a gorgeous game that really shows the leap from PS3 to PS4. I wonder what sort of downgrades would be necessary to get it to run.
Then again, Doom looks like it's turning out amazingly well, so who knows?
@BanjoPickles
Never in my wildest dreams would I have guessed Doom was coming to the Switch, so I'd agree that anything is possible.
DB Fighters Z and Soul Calibur and Dark Souls... And then I'm selling my soul...
Just give me Tekken and i'll be a happy camper.
everyone is guessing good games, watch it be Arcade collections and more pacman
We have known for months that a Tales of game would be coming to it, so you can bet it'll be one of the three titles unveiled already. That leaves two.
@WiltonRoots 2018 IS barren. 2019 is the year most developers are targeting. Which is mind boggling! They didn't know that a Nintendo handheld would sell well? It's as if they've never heard of Gameboy, DS, or 3DS.
@JJ286 After the Wii U's abysmal failure, they were probably thinking what most rational companies were thinking.
Three big games from one of my favourite publishers? Bring it on! (And more than three in the future, of course!)
I'd love a new Ridge Racer game
Tekken 7 please.
Great news as they have so many great ips. Tekken , soul calibar , tales and many others would be amazing to have on the switch.
Still this proves that for every idiotic company like EA we have one day is smart to realize the potential of the switch.
@CapricornDavid
Hope the same , but if they announce this now then those games likel be out in the first 6 months of 2018. So their time to announce more ^^
Realizes Smash 4 was co-developed by Bandai Namco
Faints
@BanjoPickles They were rumoured to have a build of DSIII - that they were happy with - running on Switch. Perhaps that rumour had an ounce of truth to it after all.
It could be absolutely anything... but there's a good chance it'll be full of anime goodness.
@Iggy-Koopa @yuwarite
With the proper amount of marketing, and if it isn't a lazy port, I could see Dark Souls really taking off on Switch! It really is an amazing franchise, complex and challenging but more accessible than it is given credit for. This is honestly a franchise that would fit on a Nintendo console like a glove!
Iggy, I certainly hope you're right! I've beaten the game three times, and would gladly beat it a few more times on the Switch!
From pic my mind comes only to one conclusion, Project X Zone?
What do I WANT or what do I THINK? I would hope for a GOOD Tales, Dark Souls compilation, and Tekken, though I personally would prefer Soulcaliber.
@Rumncoke25 DS compilation ain't gonna happen, if only because they can't fit all of them on a single game card.
@yuwarite I'd buy it! And the Japanese very likely might too.
I want Ridge Racer!
Fighter Z and I might just **** my pants
Hopefully it's all of these:
A new main Tales RPG (it better release this time unlike Tales of Graces)
Dragon Ball Fighter Z (We're all fans of Dragon Ball Super so bring on the game)
Tekken 7 (Geese Howard and Akuma in a Tekken game? Yes bring that too)
Take note, western studios. Especially you, EA.
Looks like Namco/Tecmo Koei/Square Enix/Bethesda can do what Capcan't.
Katamari! Katamari! Katamari!
Dark Souls is likely since I think they said they got one of the games running on the Switch earlier this year? Hope a new Tales game comes to the system but as always, won't rule out ports, so so many ports.
btw. NL, Bandai confirmed One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 is getting ported to the Switch for a Japan December release.
I’ll take Ridge Racer and Soul Calibur please
Any of those titles listed would be great and toss in a Namco Museum Vol 2!!!!
@DCorp that’s a good one! The remastered Wii Game was great!!
My heart says Katamari Damacy, Soul Calibur and Museum Vol 2. My brain says Tekken Tag 2 DX, Pac Man Ghostly Adventures DX and Pac Man Ghostly Adventures 2 DX
A dark souls would be great on the Switch even though it wouldn't be really for me. I've played DS3 on Pc for a few hours. It's the kind of games that I would like to love but is a bit too hardcore for me (Cuphead falls into the same category).
Please be Dark Souls!
Please be Dark Souls!
Please be Dark Souls!
Dragon Ball FighterZ please!!!
Ni No Kuni and Dark Souls would be great too.
@tourjeff Which was a TERRIBLE port. Absolutely horrible looking. My one purchase so far I wish i could take back if it weren't for the fact I bought it digitally.
Tekken please!!
I just want fighting games. Come on Bamco.
You're all forgetting the obvious: Bandai Namco developed the last Smash Bros. game.
@roadrunner343 except the Switch is handheld and is more of a 3DS successor than is a WiiU successor. Considering Japan's hype for handheld is quite stupid to think that.
Ii am assuming it will be Dragonball, Dark Souls, and...Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 maybe?
EDIT: oh right. Forgot about Tekken. It may be Tekken
@JJ286 To say it is more a 3DS successor (While the 3DS is still support) than a Wii U successor is disingenuous at best. I use my Switch 80% handheld, but there is no doubt that the Switch is clearly intended to replace the Wii U, and likely the 3DS in the near future, but it's certainly not more a 3DS replacement than a Wii U replacement. Also, Japan is a fraction of the total market. The Vita was popular in Japan too. It's not that hard to understand why a company would be hesitant to go all in early on in the Switch's life cycle.
@JJ286
It's obviously a Wii U successor just by viewing Nintendo's very own actions.
The Wii U is kaput and they are still supporting the 3ds until next year!
The 3ds didn't even have HD graphics, or any of the good bells and whistles that Switch brings, so it's more of a mash up of what the Wii U controller did, but more on the go and disconnected. The Wii U was just a filler episode until the Switch released.
Yes, it's portable, but in the eyes of Nintendo itself, the Nintendo Switch was a Wii U replacement. Besides, its the best of both worlds anyway. Want to play on your TV? Or sitting with friends in tabletop mode? Or just in handheld mode on a bus? There's a way to play for everyone.
@Desa I agree. I would say that the Switch is also the 3DS successor, despite Nintendo hesitating to say that, which is understandable since they want to continue selling both for the time being. In my opinion, the Switch is a fully realized version of the Wii U's vision.
@XenoShaun I believe they mentioned that they were working on a new Tales game a while back. They probably weren't in any rush to release it (hence why we haven't heard any more news on it).
After the Switch's initial success, Namco is most likely pushing more resources into the game to get it out sooner (probably couple months earlier, not a year earlier).
EDIT: I feel Tekken might be one of the 3 games. There's virtually no competitors in the fighting genre on the Switch right now.
Lost Reavers, baby.
I didn't know they made Dark Souls!
Please release Dark Souls 4 Switch.
@tsdenizen Ni No Kuni 'd be sick!
@JaxonH ...and Zelda damnit!
They should bring Naruto over to Switch
If not Naruto then re-release Soul Calibur 2 with online features. Man, people would go nuts to see BOTW Link in it.
So, the 3 games they put out on Switch and sold so well are:
One Piece: Unlimited World Red - Deluxe Edition
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Nintendo Switch
Namco Museum
They've also worked with Nintendo on Pokémon Tekken DX / Pokkén Tournament DX which is a success as well.
And we know they've already announced the following 3 Switch games:
Taiko Drum Master
Tales of... RPG
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 - Deluxe Edition
Bandai Namco will announce 3 new games so why do people keep mentioning the ones from the old announcements?
It's probably going to be
Super Smash Bros. Deluxe
Dark Souls Trilogy
Soul Calibur 6
dig dug
My guess:
The oft-rumored Dark Souls Remaster /Collection
Dragon Ball Fighter Z
A Tales game
@westman98 Holy cow. I love your guess!
Instinctively I wanna say Souls, but I really don't wanna throw my $300 portable-console across the room... :/
I'm hoping given the Namco flair on Nintendo devices we end up seeing a Tales game (like on 3DS/Cube), Ridge Racer (thanks to N64/DS stuff), and perhaps I suppose a fighter maybe Tekken since we got Pokken Fighter. If not that if they have some obvious DBZ/Super sequel in the pipes then that would be the fighter and an excellent choice.
@Arngrim A Zelda/Souls crossover a la Bloodborne would be dope.
tales tales tales tales tales tales tales tales (vespiria) tales tales tales tales tales (xillia collection) tales tales tales tales tales tales tales tales tales (graces f) tales tales tales tales tales (berseria) tales tales tales tales (zestiria) tales tales tales tales tales tales (a new one D=!!!)
return to nintendo baby TT.TT
Dragon Ball FighterZ for sure - Dark Souls IF Skyrim does good numbers (based on age) - probably another licensed title. But I'd hope it'd be Bloodbourne. Never had the chance to play it.
Bandai Namco:"We have put 3 games on the Switch so far and all of them are doing well."
One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition first week sales: 4,652 copies. https://gematsu.com/2017/08/media-create-sales-82117-82717
Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 first week sales 24,045 copies. https://gematsu.com/2017/09/media-create-sales-9417-91017
Pokken Tournament DX first week sales 53,395 copies. https://gematsu.com/2017/09/media-create-sales-91817-92417
One has done poorly, the next decently with quite good legs and the last has actually done quite well also with quite good legs.
So not really all of the truth, but more like an attempt to spin the Switchs´s 3rd party games succes/failure into a better light than it deserves.
(And by the way Tecmo Koei´s offerings are in a even worse position, but you have to do the work to discover that yourself. BTW wasn´t Tecmo Koei out spinning that were happy they went on board the Switch train early a couple of days ago?).
Hmm, I wonder if they could be working on a Dragon Ball Fusions 2?
@DESS-M-8 Baten Kaitos would be awesome, but Nintendo has Monolith Soft working on other games.
Tales. Of. Tales. Of. Tales. Of.
Don't. Be. Annualized. And. Or. Souls. Trash!
Yay! Bout time!
With a Tales-game previously hinted at... Time to bring back Baten Kaitos.
I just hope they please fit their games onto the cartridge! I haven't been impressed with so many big titles requiring big downloads to play.
Digimon!???
Namco (without the "Bandai" for convenience's sake) has always been (hence said convenience's sake) a heavy hitter.
Them supporting Switch is great news no matter how you put it.
C'mon, Soulcalibur 6!
They'll probably make another crappy port of Tales, see it doesn't sell very well (gee i wonder why) and then release the new entry exclusively on the Playstation 4.
That aside, Taiko No Tatsujin (even the Wii U got like three games I think) and FighterZ are pretty obvious choices.
But really I hope it's not Taiko and Tales. The latter is nothing particularly remarkable and the former, while is a franchise I loved, I'd prefer if it didn't take the hypothetical spot for another potential release on the switch. Give us Dark Souls and...ok, give me Taiko.
Still want Soul Calibur 2 HD Online that we never got on Wii U, but came to other platforms. Heihachi, Spawn AND Link in one version of the game and on the go too...I can dream can't I?
@shgamer Dragonball Xenoverse 2 has sold 400,000 worldwide so far.
How can anyone say that this game has not sold well.
@kobashi100 Not the Switch version, which was what I talked about.
@Dang3rdomo22 I agree! The Souls games are hard as hell! Ridiculously hard!!
@shgamer yes that's the switch version that has sold 400,000
It's sold very well.
https://twitter.com/mochi_wsj/status/928192553286901760
I’m calling it now a console version of Star Wars battle pod
@kobashi100 Where does it say it´s the Switch version that sold 400,000. I can only refer to Media Create, who reported the Switch version sold 24,045 copies the first week. How that can translate to 400,000 in a couple of month is beyond me.
@shgamer namco released the figures themselves.
Takashi Mochizuki works for the wall Street journal in Japan. He translated it to English on his Twitter.
He confirmed it was switch only numbers
https://twitter.com/mochi_wsj/status/928208096308084736
@SLIGEACH_EIRE
Did you ever play the sequel on the Wii? I never got to but I heard decent things.
@kobashi100 Ok, seems that way. Still a bit strange that it only sold 24,045 copies first week in Japan according to Media Create.
Dragon Ball must be bigger in the west than I thought.
Gosh, I'm tired! Friggin' tired.
Just BRING IT!
@whanvee No. I heard the opposite and from reviews the Symphonia game on Wii was nowhere near as good.
I would be down for almost any game except Tekken! I strongly dislike that franchise.
My guess is that it will be Dragon Ball, Digimon, and Pac Man something! In fact, I would almost bet on anything with the name Pac-Man on it coming to the Switch.
If I was head of the company, we would get Ridge Racer, SoulCalibur, and/Time Crisis (although I recognize that games like Time Crisis are probably in the past).
I would love to see Klonoa 3
We didn’t think the Switch [would] be accepted this fast
At least I can respect Namco-Bandai's statement and following commitment. It's NOT TOO LATE CAPCOM and especially you, EA, you can put forth "some" kind of AAA activity if you want to. Ride the train, or get left behind.
Ni No Kuni 1
Ni No Kuni 2
Soul Calibur VI.
Wish Soul Calibur Switch will be as breath taking to Switch as SC 1 was to Dreamcast!
@Dang3rdomo22 Yeah, sometimes when i play BoTW i feel like this could make a good "Souls" game, they took out all the dungeons outta Zelda, how about a "Souls" Zelda game where you traverse dungeons and temples ala the souls games and have it play hardcore like the Souls games.
@roadrunner343 no it isn't. PS2 was still supported when PS3 was out so 3DS being supported while Switch is new is common practice.
Most ppl see the Switch as a handheld thats just a fact.
@Desa the only ones that think that is Nintendo. Switch is a handheld whatever way u look at it. From portability to components. But hey that doesn't detract from being awesome. I love my Switch.
@JJ286 irrelevant. I'm one of those people who view it as a portable - from the components, to the form factor - that doesn't change the fact that the Switch is deliberately positioned and marketed as the Wii U successor.
@roadrunner343 It can be market as whatever but that will never change the fact that it is a handheld.
@JJ286 I never said otherwise. It is a portable console. That changes nothing related to whether or not it is also the Wii U successor. Which, it most obviously is, since Nintendo has been clear that it is. Whether or not it is also the 3ds successor (I think it's obvious it is) remains to be seen, but there is nothing stopping Nintendo from keeping the 3ds around for quite some time as a low cost option. They did just launch a New Nintendo 2ds after all.
@GoldenGamer88 I have been saying for years, we need a proper HD remake (with additional content) of Tales of Phantasia. It's easily one of, if not the most, overlooked games in the series, and considering a ton of the older games have been re-released; why not give the very first game a proper remake.
I would like see Digimon to come to Switch because I love to play this on my Switch. I enjoyed Digimon DS and Digimon Dawn and would like to see more come to Switch.
@tourjeff I do hope so because i love that game.
Still those comments always feel a little bit like blackmail to me:
"Buy this game of ours and we will think about releasing others if we make enough money"
Yes a company has to test the water before jumping in but some of them have been "testing the water" for quite some time already while professing support without actually having anything to show
