Krispy Kreme doughnuts are pretty delicious, but Pokémon Krispy Kreme doughnuts are on an entirely different level of yumminess - as South Korean fans are discovering.
They've been graced with a new range of doughnuts based on the famous monster-catching franchise, including a Squirtle, Pikachu and Pokéball. It's possible to buy these sweet treats individually or as part of a stomach-expanding "Pokémon Dozen" for 15,000 Won (around $16.30).
Since the range launched, Korean fans have been predictably posting images on social media to make us all jealous:
Hopefully these will make their way to the west so we can consume loads of them and feel a bit ill afterwards.

Pokemon, gotta dunk them all, pokemon!!!
I don't particularly care for doughnut fillings, so I will steer clear of these
Gotta eat em all!
Feeling down?

Nintendo should leave UK, it is no longer the Nintendo-loving country that South Korea now is - a thawing in relationships there, despite a bit of bad tensions before.

...Well we knew it couldn't have come from North Korea.
Anyways, I'd snag a half dozen of these in a heartbeat. Now I need some donuts.
Well now Brock an actually eat a donut instead of lying about it
so I don't really eat chain doughnuts but... I would become a regular customer for these.
Nice!
Those look almost too cute to eat!
You see this kind of thing 'unofficially' in all sorts of places.
These riceballs look great.
They look good
I would love if these came west.
I want them!!!!
I couldn't eat them... They are so cute! I'd feel bad eating a chunk of Pikachu's face.
I live in South Korea and Pokemon is massive here. McDonalds has had Pokemon toys before, too. They look delicious and I will happily try one of them. I'll just tell myself i'm not eating my Squirttle! hehe
Come on!
Shame these aren't available over here as they've just opened a massive KK in the retail park up the road from me.
Hey, where's the 13th doughnut?! It's called a baker's dozen for a reason, you know.
All I want are that
Dang, I just remembered I forgot to go to Krispy Kreme on talk like a pirate day. Also, I wish I could try one of the pokeballs... *whispers "sprinkles"
@Smash_kirby : I made a comment on Miiverse yonks ago about this very topic. I briefly spoke of my disdain for the dub's propensity to indulge in American cultural imperialism (in relation to the absurd "jelly filled doughnuts!" remark made by Brock concerning the onigiri) and my post was evidently deemed too racy and was deleted by the admins (it was deleted citing "political" reasons, even though my comment had nothing to do with politics whatsoever).
While I try to avoid Krispy Kreme unless I happen to be there with a group (as they're chockfull with artificial colours/flavours/preservatives), I would totally guzzle down these bad boys. Pokémon negates my otherwise good judgement. =P
@sillygostly Just from what you were describing it sounds rather racey.
