Norwegian developer Rock Pocket Games is working on a new project called Oliver and Spike: Dimension Jumpers, and it intends to bring it to Wii U as well as PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The colourful 3D exploration puzzler features a world full of dimensions, and the happenings in each one influences what goes on in the others.
Oliver and Spike: Dimension Jumpers follows a young boy called Oliver and his faithful doggy pal Spike. You must travel through dimensions uncovering Oliver's past and looking into his future as you go. Each world has at least three dimensions that run alongside each other; these separate worlds all have their own storyline, characters, settings and physical laws for you to get your head around.
The developer describes the game as "Ratchet & Clank meets Zelda meets Uncharted wrapped in a mix between adventure and platformer with a twist". Sounds interesting if you ask us.
Rock Pocket Games has had a fair amount of experience making games for mobile devices. This new project is its biggest yet and we're looking forward to finding out just how expansive it'll be.
There's no confirmation whether or not Oliver and Spike: Dimension Jumpers will be available in the Wii U eShop or if it will be a fully-fledged retail game, though based on the developer's heritage it's probably likely that it will be heading to the eShop.

I think saying this -
"Ratchet & Clank meets Zelda meets Uncharted"
takes balls as big as Randy Moss saying he's the best wide receiver ever, while he's wearing a 49er's jersey.
Not saying it can't be good, but those are some mighty big ambitions to live up to.
Interesting...
As long as the platforming is more like Ratchet & Clank and less like Uncharted, I'm interested.
This sounds intredasting.
need more info
I love all those games! Sounds promising. I hope it delivers.
I like the idea. Always been a fan of puzzle games. If someone would come out with a MYST like game for the Wii U, I would be all over that!
I've had my eye on this game for a year or so, I'm super excited that it's coming to Wii U. There's some in-development gameplay footage around somewhere.
This sounds awesome!
I'm sure it'll be a disappointment!
"Norwegian developer." Well that certainly isn't something I hear about every day.
Um...looks ok i guess...
Interesting! Hopefully it will be a cool game!
At first glance I thought that was a screenshot of the character you play is in Pokémon XD. Then I actually looked at it and it was an entirely different thing indeed.
Don't know how this is relevant. Oh well.
So I guess there's no launch window yet?
I know R&C and LOZ but whats Uncharted?
spike? from ape escape?
there's a puppy, it has to be good
'R&C meets Zelda meets Uncharted'? They better make it as good as it sounds, because this awesome idea is now stuck in my mind .
A boy and his dog travelling through a world full of dimensions. I instantly thought Secret of Evermore, which I loved. Haven't played R&C or Uncharted, but the Zelda element has me intrigued. On my radar.
Sounds like its got great potential, definitely keeping an eye on this one. Could turn out to be really creative.
Saw a trailer, and I was fairly impressed by its graphics. However the game appears to move a bit slowly, not so action packed, but that doesn't stop it's potential! Definitely watching this one carefully...
Sounds ok, but kind of uncreative for just "Boy and his dog" concept. Though, I may be wrong depending on how the game turns out. I'm a bit curious to see the whole dimension and future-seeing stuff. Hope they think about releasing this on 3DS as well.
There is one hope, and, as usual, it's Norwegian!
"Ratchet & Clank meets Zelda meets Uncharted"
Well that got my attention.
This looks good. I think they implemented the dimensional shift puzzle solving really well. Looking forward to the Wii U version!
Sounds good,but I bet it'll be crap.
