Tim's gaming origins began at age three, toying with his dad's Game Boy as he stomped through Sarasaland and cleared lines of four-tiled bricks. He soon found Pokémon and Chrono Trigger which locked in his love for games, especially Nintendo and JRPGs.
This passion led to Tim landing his first games writing gig at the ripe age of 15 . Since then, he's written for outlets including Crunchyroll, Slide To Play, Anime News Network, RPGFan, and his blog Thoughts That Move. Tim is particularly passionate about how we can use play to teach about mental illness, opening up new avenues for outreach and understanding. However, he also loves getting lost in expansive worlds, maneuvering across tricky platforms, and solving brain-bending puzzles. Given that this variety is what Nintendo offers in droves, naturally Tim has gravitated to their consoles throughout his life, ultimately leading him to Nintendo Life.
